We use this in our kennels and its an amazing idea! It has magnets on the back so it would be good for your fridge at home. We use it after morning and night rounds. This way its very clear the dogs have (or havent) been fed since we have multiple people doing rounds. 4 stars because its pretty small and simple. I recommend it! But id love to see one as perhaps a calendar? Or with a place for you to write in it?
My pooches are so happy that they are being fed and not forgotten. With older kids and a husband that works different hours they doggies where always over fed or not fed at all. It’s on our fridge and everyone knows to use it on their way out. One doggie has lost a little weight! Yeah!! The other doesn’t sulk for days when he misses a meal.
Love this. Have it on the fridge near my dog's food bowl. Now everyone in our house knows if the dog's been fed. He can't trick us into getting extra food anymore!
When more than one person lives in a household and arise at different times each morning, it’s not unusual to ask this simple question: have you fed the dog”? The dog often times LIES as you’ve noted. With this very useful apparatus, the question is history and all one has to do is look. Ah of course, there’s a problem, the other person has to remember to use the apparatus....
I just got this today, but it seems like it will work well. It sticks to our fridge and is easy to use. The sliders seem pretty loose though, not difficult to bump out of place like the description says. So long as we keep it in a place that won’t get bumped, I hope that won’t be a problem.
This is so helpful when you have multiple people feeding the dogs! It saves us from overfeeding them on the regular. I'm sure they are not happy that they aren't getting extra meals but it sure saves on food and their waist lines.
I actually bought this because I can't always remember if I took my pills or not. It has magnets on the back corners that stick really well. It is perfect for me, and helps me keep track of what day it is.
its great as a reminder, its not my dog and the actual owner is forgetful. HOWEVER the magnets aren't worth the price. super cheap magnets that will not stick to any metal surface in the house. so I just have it lying on a table near the dog dish.
We have two dogs and I am laughing uncontrollably over this product. Does anyone actually have a dog who would let you forget a meal?
We have three kids and a puppy- this is a great way to double check feedings in a busy house and check off chores with kids.
