Really Impressed
By Brock on Dec 24, 2020
I got this for my two budgies (note: it could hold a few more or a single small species conure or cockatiel, I just like giving all my birds ridiculous palaces). Assembly instructions are vague but it's pretty straightforward, and really easy if you have a power drill with a hex attachment. Cleaning is easy! I put a stack of newsprint packing papers on top of the grate and just slide one out every morning, and one piece of standard packing paper fits the bottom perfectly. This is low-stress for me and the birds. I leave the tray in to catch any stray bits, which I can easily pick up with a small shop vac. The color is really nice and tasteful, which isn't a top priority in a cage for me but is I got this for my two budgies (note: it could hold a few more or a single small species conure or cockatiel, I just like giving all my birds ridiculous palaces). The color is really nice and tasteful, which isn't a top priority in a cage for me but is a nice feature. This cage is really impressively sturdy, and a nice size. It's also not needlessly tall. Most parrot species don't use vertical space much, which just leaves you bending over to get poop trays and clean cage bars for no reason. I appreciate that that space is used for storage on this cage. I don't know much about finches, though. If they need vertical space, there are probably better cages. I wish larger bird cages were designed this smart, honestly. The door is also nice and large which makes it easy to get toys, food, etc in and out and work on taming and training. A&E isn't usually a go-to brand for me, but they really got it right here! I'm getting a crimson-bellied conure in Febuary and this is going to be my pick for habitat! … more

Totally recommend
By Moni on Feb 2, 2021
This cage is huge and has lots of space especially for my two budgies. They love this cage so much, they love how much space it has. The bar space is great as well. Great quality. Very much recommend if you’re looking for a flight cage.

Got the Green one, one person assembled, packaged well
By JUrq on Nov 11, 2020
This feels like a high quality cage and all the pieces fit together well and appear perfect, I would buy again. I am sharing a picture of the instructions included. They are VERY simple and it would not be difficult for them to label the pieces to make it much easier for the customer, however I did put this together myself although two people would have made it much quicker. (TIP: on the two horizontal 'tube' bars that screw into the top of the stand, make sure the small metal pieces welded to the sides are facing away from the stand as the cage will rest on top of the bars, inside these metal pieces.) As for the green color, I would call it an emerald green on the darker side. It is disappointing that the tray is white (and plastic) as a darker color would look much better. … more

Great cage for great price
By Barbara on Oct 12, 2020
I had a large cage for my two parakeets, but when I added two more, they seemed to fight more. They also appear to like moving from side to side more than up and down. I like that this cage is nice and wide for them. They LOVE the extra space and they fly much more which seems to make them very happy. There is less squabbling and they have room to get away from each other if they need some "alone time." This has in turn made them much more friendly to each other, if that makes sense. The price was much better than I had found with any other flight cages. It is very sturdy, yet lightweight enough to move around when cleaning. The ONLY negative, which did not matter much, is that the directions I had a large cage for my two parakeets, but when I added two more, they seemed to fight more. There is no way to tell which way to install the bars on the front and back of the stand. I tried one way and it was wrong, and of course the other way was wrong too... So I switched things around again and finally found the right way. It took about two hours to put together but totally worth the effort. … more

Just what I asked for!

It feels bigger then I imagined. My parrots love them. I bought 2 and the next cages I buy will be more just like that.

Absolutely love the amount of room it has
By bribirb on Oct 21, 2020
I absolutely love this cage. It’s huge. I still have to buy more perches because I wasn’t ready for this much room. The bars are pretty strong and is holding up the toys without bending. Love that there’s a shelf on the bottom, it’s nice and strong, it’s holding up the ungodly amount of food I have for all my birds. I did zip tie the cage to the stand because the cage moved around a lot on it. Ideal for finches/parakeets up to medium sized birds like cockatiels or conures. You can probably get away with putting in two medium sized birds. I’m putting two cockatiels in this cage and they still have a lot of room. I’d like to add though, if you’re putting medium sized birds in this cage to zip I absolutely love this cage. It’s huge. I still have to buy more perches because I wasn’t ready for this much room. The cage did have two slightly bent bars that won’t bend back and some weird scuff marks on the inside of the stand but it doesn’t bother me too bad. The cage is in otherwise perfect condition. … more

Awesome Cage
By Debbie on Oct 3, 2020
I purchased this cage. I love the cage and my bird is so happy in it. The cage is very well made. It is a Beautiful cage. We had an issue with the instructions to assemble. Step 1 and Step 2 of the instructions are reversed. If you try to put the cage together following the directions, the sides of the stand will not fit. You have to do Step 2 first and Step 1 second. Also the measurements are not correct on the height. The description says the cage is 73" with stand, it is actually 59" with stand. The cage is well worth the money.

A&E flight cage
By flyaway on Sep 25, 2020
This is a great cage. I've had several of these flight cages from A&E over the years and love everything about them. I've used them for finches canaries, beebee parrots cockatiels, conures, and even a Timneh African Grey and a pionus parrot. I bought this new cage for my bourke parakeet. Love all the space it has. I zip tie the cage to the stand for safety but it rolls nicely. I was happy that chewy now carries these cages.

Absolutely love this cage!
By GIVI on Sep 29, 2020
This is an amazing cage! For the price, I wasn't expecting this quality of a cage. I bought it in the color platinum for my Hahn's, Kazooie, and she loves it! The bar width is perfect and sturdy, the casters make it easy to move around to clean. I was also able to assemble it on my own. My only two complaints, the instructions are pretty vague, might as well not have any instructions at all XD but it's pretty much common sense; I wish the cage door were a bit wider I find it difficult to rearrange and clean the back part of her cage because the door is quite narrow. Overall great cage for any bird under 14 inches.
