Feeding Instructions
Weight Daily Feeding (cup)
2 - 6 lbs 1/8 - 1/3
6 - 12 lbs 1/3 - 2/3
12 - 14 lbs 2/3 - 3/4

Cats over 14 lbs: Add approximately 1/4 cup for every 4 lbs over 14 lbs

Combination Feeding: If feeding with wet food, reduce dry amount fed by 1/4 cup for every 3.0 oz of wet food.

Looking at the chart, divide the total per day by the total number of times you feed your cat per day to determine the portion size for each meal. Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times. Eagle Pack believes in feeding dry and wet food in combination whenever possible to help increase the level of water in your cat’s diet. Every cat is different so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, activity level, breed and environment. Please use this information as an initial recommendation only and adjust as needed.

Transition Instructions

Although transition to the new Eagle Pack formula is not necessary, we recommend mixing the old and new formula for a period of about one week whenever possible.

    Excellent for Sensative Tummies

    By on

My cat Sapphire has had tummy problems since we adopted her almost a year ago. We've tried various treatments to help her treat her IBS, steroids, prescription food, probiotics, etc. On top of being pricey and not working as effectively as hoped, I decided to look for an alternative to the prescription food and probiotics I was getting through her vet. Through ample research on various forums my boyfriend found this food which is not only extremely affordable, but also comes packed with probiotics! We're only a week in and already I've seen a difference in the litter box. Will definitely continue purchasing!

My 3 cats love this food!

    By on

My friend recommended this brand of dog and cat food and I trust her opinion because of all the research she puts in for her animals. We believe that nutrition is the best for living long and healthy lives for our pets.

    New for my cat

    By on

We weren't sure how our cat was going to like new food. He tends to turn up his nose. But he took to it right away! That's quite a recommendation.

    Not to their palate

    By on Top 500 Contributor

While this might be a good product, my cats were certainly not interested in it. I mixed it with their previous food, as I typically do when introducing new brands, and the little buggers picked out the new stuff and left the pieces lying around, while devouring their old stuff. Not the food's fault, the cats are just fussy.

    Fat Cats Getting Fatter

    By on

The really fat cat meows for up to half an hour straight when it is feeding time. Two paws up for these pebbles.

Cat developed UTI after switching to this food.

    By on

I guess I'm done with trying to provide healthier options for my cats diets! This is the second time I've researched recommended brands based on several quality factors and both times my smallest cat has developed UTIs from the better brands. And this time, she has a significantly compacted colon, too, the poor thing. Put her on Purina Naturals Cat Chow and she's fine, so I guess it's back to that. I want to add that her sister has always eaten the same foods and hasn't had any health problems. FWIW I'm sure this is a fine brand and excellent quality, just didn't work for us. I wish it had!

    This cat food is great!

    By on

I'm very happy with this brand of both cat and dog food. The animals coats look much better, and they have more energy now. (Not that they needed that!) They all enjoy the flavor apparently as they get excited at mealtime! So glad I found it.

Eagle Pack Indoor Adult Dry Cat Food

    By on

My cats are 13 years old and as of lately are constantly throwing up there food. They are healthy but just haven't done well on the better cat foods from pet stores, the senior indoor cat foods. I decided to go even more healthy researching what my cats need and don't need for their age. They love the Eagle brand food and have not thrown up once since starting it two weeks ago. I think we have a winner! l also love the auto re-ordering process and very fast delivery; definitely a plus.

    Cats are adjusting

    By on

We just transitioned our Great Dane to Eagle Pack puppy food, so we thought we'd take a step toward making our cats healthier too. They had been eating Purina Naturals dry cat food, because it was the only food my husband and I could find that didn't totally upset the stomach of one of our cats. Any other food left him with runny stools. The Purina Naturals brand improved the problem, but didn't cure it. This food seems to have eliminated the sensitivity he was experiencing, and he no longer has soft stools. It took several tries to get all three cats to try this food, but they all seem to be adjusting to it just fine. They seem to be eating less often and using the litter box less often as well We just transitioned our Great Dane to Eagle Pack puppy food, so we thought we'd take a step toward making our cats healthier too. I would recommend to other folks looking for a quality dry food at a reasonable price. … more
