Looking at the chart, divide the total cups per day by 2 to 3 meals per day to determine the portion size for each meal. At 5-7 months, and again at about 12 months, your puppy will automatically reduce the amount consumed. This is due to a natural reduction in growth rate and the reduced need for calories. Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times. Eagle Pack believes in feeding dry and wet food in combination whenever possible to help increase the level of water in your puppy’s diet.
Every puppy is different so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, activity level, breed and environment. Please use this information as an initial recommendation only and adjust as needed.

Did many hours of research on giant breed puppy food that did not contain either chicken or beef, as my history with OES pups is that those protein sources cause diarrhea. Also looked at company history and reputation, and country of origin, along with grain free carbs. Never fed any of my other dogs Eagle Pack, but so far, this has been a winner. My OES pups loves it, has solid poo, and no digestive issues. I'm on my second bag.
Chewy is the way to go with all of your dogs needs. Great customer service!!
The food arrived promptly. It was unavailable at my local store and I was so pleased to receive it so quickly.
Starting using the adult large breed formula in 2008 for my lab with skin issue. His fur was shiny and thick after using. No more skin allergies. My next puppy started using in 2010 and great results, no issues. I have tried other brands but always come back to Eagle Pack. My labs and rotties love it.
Very disappointing. This is the second time this has happened.
We have two puppies, a 5 months and a 7 month old. Our 5 month has been on this dog food for 2 months, overall it’s been good - her poop isn’t as solid as it should be but it’s not bad either. We got our second puppy and started mixing this food in with his previous, slowly only thing food. His diarrhea has gotten so bad that he needs to go in the middle of the night as well. Switching back to his previous dog food now to see if this balances him out. We choose this company because there isn’t many bad reviews and I couldn’t find any lawsuits against them but clearly our dog does not like this food.
Unfortunately, this dog food gave my dog the runs and her skin allergy seemed to get worse. I cook my Dane's meals, but like to add a scoop of kibble to make sure she is getting enough nutrients. I read the reviews and decided may be a good transition...anything for Miss Avery, but after about a week and a half I had to discontinue.
Has a very mild flavor with notes of tuna. For a kibble it is not as dry as one one assume. Goes down smooth with little to no aftertaste. Would recommend!
The puppy started out on purina at the breeder but I don’t like that brand. Started her straight away on this and she loves it. Shes a lab and is sure to remind me when it’s feeding time. Chewy delivered in one day. Time for me to adjust schedule of delivery.
Our breeder started our Newfoundland puppy on this food. He is now 10 weeks old and we just got him and he loves the food. All is well so far.
