Better than I expected
My 2 small breed dogs are incredibly finicky, and generally don't like "rawhide alternative" treats, but they accepted these fairly quickly, much to my surprise. These treats are appropriately sized for small breed dogs, and have no odor that I detected.
Wanted to love it
This seemed like a great idea for smudge who is a world class chewer. He seems to like the smell ok, but he doesn't interact with it or chew it
Probably great for dogs!
Because I have a large, fairly young and rough and tumble cat who loves to chew things I had hoped that she would go for these. She had no idea of what to do with them. I am assuming that they are good quality and that a dog, as they are advertised for, would love them.
Too tough for cats
I should have read the other reviews that said these are too tough for cats, because they are REALLY tough. I can’t snap it with my human hands, let alone a cats paw or tooth.
Great purchase and felt good knowing the ingredients were safe!
My cat is having a blast with this thing haha. She doesn't quite understand how to hold it so I do it for her, and the other one is so confused that he just rubs his face on it. I think with more time they'll really get a hang of it. I know it's a hit regardless. Definitely worth it and will buy again for sure. This completely deserves 5 stars.
As Expected
These sticks were essentially what I expected. Unfortunately, my cat just chewed the bits off the outside and left the mock rawhide portion behind. I'm sure a small dog would love them!
