    Love the new bags!

    if you've used the earth rated poopoo bags in the past, these are a little different...BETTER if you ask me. they still fit on the leash keychain and all that jazz, however these are vegetable based so the texture is a little different. i love them not only for being earth friendly, but also because if you've used the earth rated poopoo bags in the past, these are a little different...BETTER if you ask me. they still fit on the leash keychain and all that jazz, however these are vegetable based so the texture is a little different. i love them not only for being earth friendly, but also because these are easier to get opened. remember in the pandemic when we were all trying to avoid licking our fingers but it was the only way to get those dang bags open?! you won't have that issue with these and it's awesome. … more

    Compostable really?

    To be fair, Earth Rated does say on their website that the bags will take a year to break down 90%. How is that compostable? Anything that takes longer than a few months to break down should not be considered compostable. There are other products out there that will actually break down. If you are buying these and throwing them in the trash and hoping it will break down in the landfill, you will be disappointed to know that they never will. If you are putting them in your home compost and it's going to take a year to break down 90% you must have a lot of space for compost. Most municipalities will not accept these in city yard waste bins or compost bins, some will. Better to find a product that will break down in a few months not a year. … more
