My male cat had diarrhea for several days and was not able to clean himself up properly. I bathed him in this shampoo and he healed nicely. The only thing I didn’t like is that it didn’t rinse out easily. Fresh smell and easy to use.
safe and fresh
trustworthy ingredients, lightly and delightfully scented. Great shampoo leaves coast soft/shiny
Just like with people in our family we watch for ingredients that may not be safe for our pets, too. This shampoo is one we feel comfortable using on our pets as the ingredients seem safe. This shampoo smells really nice. The smell is not overpowering but is just pleasant once your pup is bathed. It's kind of a thicker, luxurious type of feel to the shampoo. It is not runny or thin. We like this product and would recommend to anyone looking for a new shampoo to try for their dog.
Clean, fresh, soft, and lightly fragranced
Love the EarthBath products for shampooing and conditioning my doggies’ coats. Both my poodle and my yorkiepoo come away snuggling sweet and clean
Earthbath Oatmeal & Aloe Dog & Cat Shampoo
This shampoo does an excellent job on washing my dog. It is very gentle and leaves her coast soft and fluffy.
Great shampoo for dogs who itch
This was great my puppy had hives once and i bought this because i read that oatmeal and aloe soothes their skin. This also lathers so much better than the shampoo we already had and we like this one so much we gave the other shampoo away and we are only buying this one now. Always gets him cleaner and smelling so much better than other shampoo we have tried.
I got kind of obsessed with bathing my two new boys. They are Australian Shepard and Labrador mix rescue dogs. Now they oddly have two very different coats and this is somewhat unusual as they are siblings from the same litter. One is deeply thick with a huge under/guard hair matting and the other is velvety with another guard hair compliment only thinner and fluffy. When I first got my boys, they had itching issues, most likely from environment at the shelter/kennels and the use of anti-flea/tick shampoos. As soon as I started them on the Earthbath shampoo, I noticed a difference in both the sheen and softness of their coats, but the itching as well. One word of caution: Make sure you rinse thoroughly any deep/thick haired dogs. I didn't do as good a job on my second shampooing as on my first and my pups were itching more than the first time. If thoroughly rinsed both during shampoo and conditioner, this will not be an issue.
Love the simplicity and openness about the ingredients they use. The smell is light but pleasant. I’ve used it on both my dog and my cat.
Won't use anything else
I made the mistake of switching shampoos, and I learned my lesson! Stick with this, and Olaf is clean, soft, and his skin is instantly irritation-free.
My dog has sensitive skin and fleas have been a problem this season adding to the problem. This shampoo left her coat smooth and decreased her desire to scratch.
