We LOVE this food!! I have a heeler who is very picky, and specifically likes rabbit. We have to have a food that contains no pork, and I personally require grains. This is the ONLY food I can find that meets all our requirements! This is also the first food my dog will eat without having any toppers added to it. So happy I found this brand & this line of food!
My 3 y/o 60lb pit has had horrible allergies, so I tried this food for the rare protein; it seems to have worked, doggo's allergies have drastically improved.
This is my second bag of this and I'm going back to Farmina. I thought the first bag was just a crumbs type of batch or something... nope this is too. The whole bag is like the bottom of a bag of chips.
My dog needs a non common protein for her allergies which is hard to find. We were also told by our vet not to use grain free foods anymore. This was about the only one that fit the bill. I just wish the price was more affordable. It’s tempting to buy cheaper food but we really can’t for the food of our pet.
It took me months going through the computer to find out all the Controversial Ingredience in Dog Food. I listed all of them & also listed all the Good Ingredience in Dog Food & then started on my venture to find the Perfect Dog Food for by 2 little Bichons. The search for the Perfect Dog Food took months, as I had to go through all the various High End Dog Foods Ingredience & found only 2 Brands that had several in their line of Foods: 1. was Earthborn "Unrefined with Ancient Grains & Superfoods & the other was 2. Acana had just a few in their line of dog foods. I choose Earthborn "Unrefined with Ancient Grains & Superfoods & my 2 Fur Babies have just Flourished with this food. My little girl has no more ear infections & my boy does not have any more stomach issues. I mix the Earthborn with my homecooked: Boiled Lightly Cooked Lean Ground Turkey, with various steamed & blended vegetables & when not using my Homecooked I will mix it with "Small Batch Lightly Cooked" - I NEVER give RAW - my vet has told me the horror stories of a Raw Diet! My Dogs have a complete physical every year & this year my Vet said "whatever u r doing - keep doing it because your dogs r EXTREMLY HEALTHY!!!!!!" THANK YOU EARTHBORN!!!
I am sure this dog food is really good. My dog loves it, but we are having an issue with soft stools. We don't know if it's the food or something else. I would rate this good great so long story short, until we find out the culprit for the soft stools I would reserve a recommendation.....although I really don't think it's the food.
Our dogs love this food! Their coats look great and our Aussie’s skin is finally clearing up. We’ve tried so many different proteins and dog food brands. We have definitely decided this is the one. Any issues with crumbs seems to have been fixed because none of the bags we’ve received have had them.
This is about the only dry food flavor/brand my picky Bichon will actually eat . I was surprised when my 10 yr old Rescue would eat this dry food without mixing it with wet. She seems to enjoy it for snacking so I keep a small amount out for my dogs in case they’re hungry during the day.
My cocker spaniel has a lot of allergies and since I started feeding Earthborn Refined Rabbit her allergies are so much better. I highly recommend this food if an animal is suffering from allergies. It works for us.
My pup has food allergies that restrict him to certain foods. After doing some research, I found that many dogs with food allergies can tolerate rabbit. I transitioned him very slowly and so far he is doing well and has had no issues!
