Very low fat and easy transition

By mjjstpete on Oct 11, 2021

I needed to get a low fat dry food for my Australian Shepherd. The percentage of fat is only 7%, which is way lower than most. It was a very easy transition from his other dry food. There was no diarrhea or any other problems. He loves the food

Not my favorite Earthborn Food - Upset Belly Alert!

By MiasMom on Jun 14, 2021

My 70-lb pit has been on Earthborn for over a year now since we adopted her. She's tried a couple of the proteins to find one that worked for her skin, but we found she could lose a few pounds and stubbled upon the Weight Control. We gradually added the new food to her existing food. For the first few days to a week she seemed fine. As we added more of the new food to her existing food, we noticed she had more of an upset stomach, eating grass, mouth licking, etc. We thought maybe she got into something or just had a stomach ache, but after a few days of an upset belly, we stopped the Weight Control and went back to her other Earthborn Venture food. We hope that helps soothe her belly. My 70-lb pit has been on Earthborn for over a year now since we adopted her. Just to note - Mia typically isn't impacted by a sensitive stomach, so other reviews that stated belly issues didn't initially alarm me. … more

    Not the same!!!!

By Paco on Jun 28, 2021

Paco was on this food for years, he enjoyed it very much and it helped him stay slim. And then they changed the formula, now its nothing but a shi__y situation for him. I understand why they changed it but its not good for my boy. I've been forced to go to Blue because they have the protein/fat ratio that he needs. Even contacted Earthborn with feedback on the new formula and they brushed it off.

    Formula has definitely changed!

By Cracar on Jun 30, 2021

My dog has been eating this food for many years and we just recently ran out and had to order more. I noticed that the size of the kibble had changed and my dog has started having gastrointestinal problems. The food is the only thing that has changed in his diet. I definitely don’t recommend this new formula food!

Dogs lost weight for all the wrong reasons.

By JZBroncosDogs on Aug 2, 2021

My dogs have been on Earthborn Meadowfeast for years with no problem. Switched to this-trusting the brand-but we have had incredible GI upset that we have never seen before. Buyer beware!

    Great for a skin allergy!

By DogLover on Jul 8, 2021

I can't tell yet if my dog lost weight but he didn't gain any more! Earthborn has been great for his skin allergies! Ever since we switched over to this brand, the redness and irritation from his skin allergies have been clearing up! Thank you Earthborn!

    Ms Vanessa

By Nesss on Jun 24, 2021

I luv this dog food & so does my Min-Pin/Chihuahua mostly mix. I luv the good bacteria, enzymes, Glucosamine & Chondroitin bone support, all the things I was looking for in a dog food, & no allergy ingredients, including the no pea fiber! My fur baby digests it fine, no itching like other dog foods made her do.

    alternative to prescription food

By LabLover on May 12, 2021

I have a 12 year old Labrador who's mind is ALWAYS focused on food. He's had a few scary bouts with Pancreatitis from getting into neighbors puppy food and had to be on prescription food for months to get back to health. Once stable i needed to find a low fat dog food that was kind to his insides, still had enough protein in it to support him and was affordable. This food has worked out wonderfully!

    Why switch formulas?

By Danno on May 18, 2021

I fed the old version of this food to my dog and he loved it. This new version he won't touch. Too bad as I'll have to find something else. Why not offer both the old and new version? Looks like the company is going to lose money on this.

    Chili and Scribbles

By Dogslove on Apr 7, 2021

We have two dogs, one a picky eater and the other is in love with all food. We've been using this formula for about a year; our Weim loves it! He's lost weight, looks healthier and no GI issues which makes all of us very happy. Our Boxer, she eats it as well and loves it with some fish oil on top. Our pups are healthy, happy, and maintain healthy weights with no foul odors to gas us out.
