EcoPlus Round Air Stone

I expected a much smaller air stone. Was pleasantly surprised with the medium size!

I can't believe this is the smallest size airstone Chewy carries! I needed the typical type of small airstone that fits down the tube for an under gravel filter. I greatly misunderstood the size of this stone, and it is comically too large for my nano tank. To make things worse, I can't even use it for my larger tank as the connector is too large for my air tubing.

The stone is larger than I expected, not like the small you buy else where. I put 2 in my 30 gallon tank and it does a wonderful job of circulating the water! The fish took a couple of days to get use to all the bubbles and circulation these stones put out. I will definitely buy again when I need more! My fish now enjoy the bubbles!

First of all, the measurements given for these air stones are actually in centimeters, not inches, as stated in the product description. These are considerably larger than what most people are used to getting at the pet store. They are also difficult to attach to standard size tubing. I went out to my husband's work bench and tried different tools/picks until I was able to stretch the end of the tubing enough to fit on to the air stone. Once I got it hooked up, it worked incredibly. It produced tons of bubbles right away even though I have it hooked up to a tiny air pump from my former 1 1/2 gallon tank. My current tank is a 6 1/2 gallon cylinder shaped tank. The fish LOVE all the bubbles. This product is VERY GOOD quality, but I got the small size, and its HUGE! But it's still very useable.

I'm thinking this size would be more appropriate for a larger tank than 10 gallon. I was expecting a standard size. It's more difficult to hide in the tank. Tubing regulation required with my tank size. The description of this item is somewhat confusing,and unclear.

These are very big for small air stones. They create a ton of bubbles. Highly recommend.

Can’t speak for whether or not the stone works - couldn’t even get it attached to the tubing. I have the standard 3/16”s that I use for everything else, but it won’t stay on. If it requires a different size, you’d think it would say in the description.

I bought the medium air stone and it is MASSIVE. It also doesn't produce very many bubbles. Just a small amount from the top which makes me think either the airstone is defective or my pump isn't strong enough for it which wasn't possible to predict given the generic descriptors for sizes.

This item is listed in sizes small, medium and large. But that is very deceiving as the small size I ordered was the size of a tennis ball and not the quarter size I usually get at the pet store. I think the actual dimensions of each one should be stated on the product page.
