Questions & Answers

3 Customer Questions

Can I use this on the furniture and blankets and stuff like that?
Answer by ChewyJan 21, 2023
You can apply the Tick & Flea spray on your pet, on their bed and surroundings areas.

How often does this need to be applied to be effective?
Answer by ChewySep 08, 2022
This spray should be applied as needed especially before and after walks.

Can this be used alongside rx topical preventives? Or does it disrupt the treatment?
Answer by ChewyMar 31, 2022
We do not recommend using both products at the same time. Topical treatment may be oil based products and EcoSpaw products are a natural oil emulsifier. Instead, we recommend using EcoSpaw's natural alternative for treating fleas and ticks - their Tick & Flea Unscented version.

Always consult a veterinarian about your pet’s health needs. Customer reviews should not be used as medical advice.

Ineffective

“I WANT TO BELIEVE” in natural flea and tick prevention. I appreciate this spray is natural and made for dog, cats, and the home, however, it is highly ineffective. The recommendation is to “generously” spray your pet with it before going outside & upon coming back inside. Every. Single. Time. This may work on very short haired single coated dogs, but not for longer haired dogs or cats of any coat length. At over $10.00 for 8 oz., do the math on how expensive this product will be when you run out of it within a week. Unfortunately, I’ve learned that natural products of any brand are ineffective at controlling fleas and ticks. With so many zoonotic diseases carried by flea and tick vectors, I will reluctantly resume using veterinarian approved chemicals to kill and repel fleas and ticks.

Not as I expected

Product did not come out of the bottle as a mist and none of my animals would sit still for the stream. Wet a cloth but that did not get the coverage

It would been ok if it had not leak on my dog food

The Stuff Works

Not easy getting the flea meds on a feral cat, but it worked.

Among the best I know

I don't usually review but after several bottles I thought it might help. Have used on two cats: mine is a young adult but it's been a blessing for a stray one I brought in very ill, old, not eating or walking, big time anemia from flea bites, and I think harsh chemicals would kill her. She bites and paws so it was surprising she never tries to get away while I apply this, but purrs. It does not leave a greasy mess and it's got simple ingredients but it's been SO effective. Nozzle is bad and cats don't like it so I apply against the hair root with cotton and then wet a good flea comb thoroughly in it and they come out, sometimes already dead. For those who want to get rid of fleas at one time, if you're not sure your home is not infested, do not buy. But once you're sure, after 2 or 3 days your pet will most likely be free from them. If they go outside, applying it as per instructions does the job.
