Precautions
Isolated incident of either vomiting, bloody stool or watery/profuse stool have been reported following treatment. If these signs are observed and they persist, consult your veterinarian.
This dewormer is formulated to treat active worm infestations and are typically effective with one treatment. However, if your pet gets reinfected with worms you can dose again after 3 weeks or consult your veterinarian for earlier treatment usage.
We have a puppy that we will administer 1/2 of the tablet to, my question is how often do I need to administer the wormer to her after the first dosage?
Answer by • Jul 01, 2018
Only a single treatment is necessary however, steps should be taken to prevent reinfection.
Does this product kill both 2 different types of tapeworms? It says it kills roundworm hookworm, whipworms and tapeworms. But there are two different types of tapeworms does this product kill the Taenia saginata species tapeworm and the Dipylidium Caninum species of tapeworm?
Answer by • Jul 20, 2019
This De-Wormer kills both Dipylidium caninum and Taenia pisiformis tapeworm varieties. Bayer Quad is also effective against common hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum and Uncinaria stenocephala), common roundworms (Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonina), and Trichuris vulpis whipworms in dogs.
How do you know if your dog has worms
Answer by • May 23, 2019
Animals with worms may show no obvious outward signs of infection. Normal bowel movements do not rule out the possibility of parasite infection. However, when signs are present they can include diarrhea, or blood tinged stool, mucous in the stool, variation in appetite, poor hair coat, weight loss and vague signs of abdominal or rectal discomfort, abdominal enlargement, scooting of the hindquarters and excess licking or irritation around the hind end. Some parasites can cause severe blood loss and even death, especially in young, weak or malnourished pets.
Always consult a veterinarian about your pet’s health needs. Customer reviews should not be used as medical advice.

quick and effective
my 10 week pup had no obvious signs of worms, other than random bouts of diarrhea, then all of a sudden scooting around. went out and got this 4 pack, gave the recommended dose for his weight and within 24 hours and entire family of round worms were out and i have a brand new pup!

Works works works
After some research I found this to be the most effective for killing all worms although the others will state the same on packaging there are 2 medications in this that are needed to destroy the tapeworms. Let me say be ready because if your dog or puppy has worms they are coming out. I gave it to my 4 month cattle dog in the morning and ran out to do errands and when I got back 3 hrs later she had one mess and it was obvious she had worms. Don't hesitate on this one. The dose chart Is on the back of the box according to your dog's weight. Great product does what is says.

Works For Roundworms
I used this for my 8 week Female GSD Husky Mix and it worked great to get rid of her roundworms not sure about every other worm since I only found dead roundworms in her poo but for that works wonders plus comes with four little chewables you can crush them into their food as well.

excellent puppy dewormer
I had a litter of dachshund puppies that roundworms were noted after each deworming with a named brand Pyrantel dewormer. I decided to try a different dewormer to see if I could get the roundworms cleared out. Litter was 6 weeks old and I gave each pup a 1/2 a bone (weight was 2 lbs), and 2 hours after treating the litter the dewormer went to work. Stool was slightly soft with roundworms. 2 of the puppies did have some mild/slight vomiting. Litter was treated again 10 days later with no roundworms. I was able to send the pups home confident that they were parasite free. I’m now going to be using this brand of dewormer instead of the others I normally use at the 6 and 8 week mark! Excellent product, works quickly with only mild side effects if any. I’m one happy and thankful dachshund breeder!

Do Not Use
I gave this to both my small dogs and just a few hours later both started throwing up uncontrollably. If I could give it a 0 star I would. Do not use this

Not really a chewable
I thought it would be an appetizing, easy to get my dogs to eat.
They are very hard, like Wishbone treats.
Unappetizing.
They're not liquid, or force-down-the-throat pill.
But
It's not easy to con them to take it.
I won't order it again. I wanted a true chewable, so they would take it.

Great product
Have a cat that I saw tapeworm evidence of and bought her the cat dewormer. Well, figured if the cat has them I might as well get some for my dog. My dog is on heartguard, but not sure about whether it would do tapeworms. So I gave her one and that night she had some poops so I'm gonna say it worked.
