Great for certain situations
I bought the second-largest version of this playpen in order to keep my two cats confined while electricians were working all over the house (basement to attic), leaving me no actual room where I could keep the cats behind a closed door. After a couple of days, I'm very satisfied with it for that purpose. It has enough space for a fairly large litter box, a cushion/bed big enough for both of them, a couple of toys, and a tray with their food/water dishes. I will say that if you use it indoors, think about putting a throw rug or something under it to back up the nylon "floor" in case of water spills or something else. My little hooligans spilled their water--the tray caught most of it, and thankfully the rest didn't seem to go through the floor of the playpen. Second, I wouldn't necessarily count on it to hold up to a frightened or highly energetic pet who is determined to scratch their way out of it or chew on it. I twisted bread ties around the zippers of the "doors" to help secure them a bit more.
Great for deck and travel
We have a new pup and this is a great portable pen that has lots of visibility for the pup, and the zip on mesh top keeps him from jumping out yet give him lots of air. It also looks nicer In a room than other pens. And the waterproof bottom is great for young Pups I’m case of accidents.
Cozy Playpen for My Cat
I ordered an EliteField playpen for my large cat to keep him from running away in my new house during a move when the doors will be kept open. He likes the very nice-looking pen, and because it is light and easy to move around, I plan to keep it on the porch where he can safely study the new neighborhood.
Mixed review
The playpen is functional if you don't put it up and take it down, or you have storage space. I LOVED it at first. But I could not get it folded up. I even had my neighbor help. Putting it up and taking it down stresses the playpen. The metal supports are starting to come through the canvas in places, the top cover zipper broke, and it will not fold up to go back into the storage bag. Since I live in a small city apartment this was a crucial requirement. If you're planning to set this up in a yard or garage and never take it down or you have storage space to halfway fold it up, then this playpen is great for you! I would also recommend this product for dogs but not cats. Cats can climb to the top and collapse the playpen in on itself. Granted, I have hyper kittens in there - a chill older cat might be OK.

I purchased the largest one they sold. I have 4 pussycats who love to go out in our yard. Our yard is only 16’ x 15’ and all concrete will cinder block walls that are 6’ and 8’ high. But of course I have one Pussycat, Ryan, who is more interested in what is in my neighbors yard than our yard. So I purchased this over sized playpen. It was very easy to open each of the panels then attach the mesh top panel that just zips on and off along with the bottom panel that also zips on & off. Mine came with 2 large entrances on each size that just zips open and close. It was very easy for me to do since I’m a 67 year old senior citizen. I assembled it in my living room so my cats can walk in & out and just get used to this super big playpen. The 2 doors are just made of mesh that zips around on 3 sides and Velcro’s at the top. I love it and so do my cats. The only thing you must look out for are the scratchers who like to paw at the mesh sizes but a stern NO should stop that. Come with a really nice strong cloth carrying case.
NOT SECURE!! Needs better zippers and sealed seams around the metal frame
We got this to house a 1lb foster kitten during our weekend getaway. Only 2 complaints-1 the rods popped through the unfinished seams on the underside of it in multiple spots, 2- terrible Zippers that pop at random! Otherwise functional with supervision.
I love the size
This is the only portable kennel I have found that is big enough for my Great Dane to stand up while inside. Unfortunately, he broke out via the zipper within the first 15 minutes. We hadn't even finished unloading the car. The zipper clips to itself, so it didn't come unzipped, but he broke the plactic zipper right off the track. Not a total loss, however, as my 10 year old grandson then slept in it the rest of the trip...
Elitefield soft sided two door playpen
I had a smaller playpen from another brand and I needed one larger for my incontinent cat so she could be sequestered in a smaller space at night. I put P pads on the bottom that are washable, it’s tall enough to crawl in and change everything beds, and the two doors make it very easy to let the cat out in either direction. It’s sturdy very easy to set up, and I’m very pleased with it. Is 52 inches wide so it’s large enough that the cat doesn’t feel like it’s in any kind of a confinement. Nice quality product
Love It
We have loved this play pen for our puppy. A great place for her to play in a safe environment. I would have loved there to be a better cover for the zippered bottom, but would definitely purchase this again.
Zipper broke after two years
We got a lot of use out of this pen fostering kittens. The mesh held up against many many claws! But the zipper holding the top mesh on suddenly broke and now pulls apart easily. There are two semi feral kittens hiding .. Somewhere. We will find them again but if this had been used outside, it doesn’t bear thinking about.
