EliteField 2-Door Soft-Sided Dog & Cat Playpen

This playpen is wonderful! I saw someone in a video with a soft-sided playpen - I'd never heard of such a thing. It is truly brilliant! Waaaaay better, imo, than the wire pens that takes a bit of wrangling, wrestling and perhaps a few jiu jitsu moves to set up. Had this soft-sided one up in maybe three minutes. I did line the bottom with doggy training pads and then towels over that in the event that any occupants wanted to think outside the box. I actually ordered a 48" at first. Then after finding out my new feral kitten will have to be on ringworm treatment for 5 weeks, I also ordered the largest one - figuring he might need room to run laps before it's all said and done. I got this playpen for my new 7lb 9 week old puppy and it has been a life saver. I keep it in the living room and use it for a lot of different reasons... when I need to do things around the house but can’t leave him unattended since he isn’t potty trained yet, while we’re eating but he can still see us, which helps him not whine, when he needs a time out to calm down, etc. I throw some toys in and he’s good to go for a bit. I love it and he loves it too. Way more than his crate, which he only uses for bedtime or when we leave the house. The playpen keeps him calmer IMO. He bites/chews it itself and the mesh, and it’s still in great shape. It’s awesome! very easy assembly, just pop the sides out and zip it up. but my kitten hates it. she is very playful and likes to run around so i got her the largest size but she climbs on the netting and meows to get out. when we can't watch her it's going to be great because we know she won't get into anything and for when we go to bed, but i wouldn't keep her in here all day. it's pretty roomy. fits a large cat bed in and a litter box with room for toys. its big enough that i can sit with her in the pen too. it's also good for my skiddish resident cat to go up and sniff her. i think an adult cat would fit in this too and have enough room. highly recommend, but i can't say the same for my kitten.

I was skeptical, there are so many of these playpens online. Not only different models, but different sizes. I am very happy with this item. I chose the 42" size for my Shih Tzu who is now 7 lbs. I needed something to visit my mom and son, who both have dogs - to have a chance to talk without worry about the dog. This is perfect. She tries to dive bomb the sides to tip it over, but it does not tip. There is plenty of room for her to grow. I put a blanket, pee pads, and toys in with her to keep her happy. I am very happy with my purchase. I also like that this model has a zip in top cover it I want to take her outside in the sun.

We needed something to keep our rowdy kittens from jumping around and climbing everything after being spayed and neutered. This is perfect! We put a small litter box, water and a comfy bed and now they seek it out even when the door is open. It was easy to set up and take down. Great color. Love that the floor can be removed if I want to take it outside in the grass. Hoping we can use it as a supervised outdoor space During the summer.

I loved the idea for our new 11 week old 2lb. yorkie. First she figured out how to undo it the first time e put her in it and then when we moved the zipper up to where she couldn't reach out, she rugged at the zipper itself till it came apart and she could get out. Don't waste your money.

All in all this us a great product. My puppy was around 22 lbs when I got him at almost 11 weeks. He chewed on the zippers and if you left him alone and the zipper to the doors we could unzip and let himself out. But he's a puppy so what do you expect. Puppies grow fast and had to add the top mesh closure because he was now tall enough to collapse it. He can tip it over but it gets him no where so he stopped. He is now 14 weeks around 28 lbs.

This was great! Brought it for my fur babies to be in at my moms house during the holidays, But my family is still having a hard time folding it for me to ship it to my house. Maybe directions on folding for the future? Other than that, it’s perfect

The playpen is great when you just don’t have time to watch the new pet for a few minutes. When I take my shower she goes into the playpen. When I need to run outside she goes into the playpen. My dog is very small so the zippers are not a problem., A great purchase for a small puppy.

I am aware that a reminder was included. However I would expect the quality to be able to withstand a few scratches from a dog with filed nails. I didn’t leave my dog in there for more than 10 minutes. But other than that it was true to size just not very durable.
