Bought this (the 52 x 52 x 32" size), to replace a big metal kennel, for a newly inside cat + 2 very young kittens. Easily fits a medium/large litter box, a place-mat-size tray with food and water dishes, a small cat condo and toys, with room for the mom to sprawl. Two 'doors' make it more accessible than the single entry kennel. While it's a larger item than the kennel, it doesn't feel so big in the room, is much easier to handle than the heavy kennel, and it has screen vs metal bars so the little guys can't get out and my cats can't reach in and steal their toys. It was easy to set up, has been easy to clean, and when they're ready to move out, will be easy to collapse and store. I am very happy with this purchase. After about a month's use it doesn't appear to be torn or otherwise damaged by the little guys.
I’m using it for a foster kitten and it has proven to be one of the best tools I have. She was under weight and too young to be adopted so we used this to keep her from hiding, she got used to cats and dogs around her and she got used to people. It definitely helped with socializing her.
I purchased two of these to allow my indoor cats a taste of the outdoors while staying safe. They’re great quality and I’m really happy with this purchase.
We love the portable pet playpen we just ordered from Chewy! It is lightweight, easy to collapse and store and our kitty loves it. We just took our cat on vacation with us and used it in the car for her. It was big enough for her bed, food, and a small litter box. Fantastic!
I purchased this playpen so when I take my mini dachshund, Runt, to my son's house to be babysat he would have an area to be in that was spacious. He absolutely loves it! I now have it in my living room and he sleeps in it all the time!
My kitten absolutely loves this. She feels safe in this and has improved her shyness and interaction.
This is a good enclosure but for a cat with claws, she needs to be in our sight all the time. I was hoping to have some freedom for her and me. Should have gone with something metal I guess. Also shading for very sunny climates is not possible unless you reverse the bottom and top and them that presents another problem. So, would recommend to folks who have an animal content to be somewhat confined. Cats not so much!
I have a 9lb Dachshund and he's escaped this thing every time. He's not an agressive dog at all but this thing needs to be fully enclosed to contain even small dogs. Even when fully enclosed he jumps on the wall and it will fully collapse, it's not sturdy at all, and the zippers on the floor of it often separate allowing the dog to escape and make it hard to unzip and put back together. Lastly, this thing is impossible to fold back up for storage. They don't provide any instructions, and the image they provided in a similar question above isn't nearly detailed enough. Overall not worth the cost.
I needed some where for my small dogs to hang out when I leave the house. This is perfect. There is room for 2 beds, food and water and toys (of course). They love it and I can rest assured when I leave home.
I came home from a short trip, 15-minute trip to pick up my grandson from school. My little Yorkie was able to get the mesh rooftop unzippered and get out of the playpen. I will never feel safe leaving her in this playpen unless I am home and watching her activity.
