    Purrfect for Cats too!

While this is not sold as a cat carrier/crate, it's perfect for them -- I've two larger boys, who were not happy about being shoved into their soft sided cat carriers (They don't like the hard sided ones either). I got two, and they're just great, lightweight, sturdy, plenty of mesh to see out of which is key for car rides. One caveat to consider for other owners is I definitely wouldn't use them if my cats thrashed around because of the spring part of the structure. The intent being for it to be used for her in the 911 Center while I am at work, and somewhere that she can go to for quiet time. Like other reviews, the zipper did not last but 2 weeks after use, and broke. This gave her an opportunity to chew that, then rip the track of the zipper off the crate. I can't zip her into it now when needed. Also like other reviews, the crate pad is simply a bottom covering, not cushy at all. We had to add another pad on top of it, just so it was soft for her to lay on. She loves it, and it's a nice place for her to go, but not being able to keep her in it is a problem. To spend $90 on this crate, for it to last such a short time, and have minimal padding is very disappointing. … more
