can I put this in the washing machine?

This bed can be machine washed in cold water on a delicate cycle. Do not bleach. Hang dry.
Is there grip on the underside to hold the mat in place?

I have a small Elite softside crate. will the 22 inch fit that crate or do I need another size?J

The small Elite Soft Side Crate's floor measures 24 x 18 inches. The 22 inch EliteField Fleece Dog Mat will fit inside the small crate with a few extra inches of space.

Not as advertised

I ordered 2 of these to replace our existing one. It is definitely not the pads that came with the kennel, a lot lighter and not of the same quality.

New pup in the house

We bought this mat for our crate to replace after we lost our senior dog, and now we're bringing a new pup in the house. We wanted the new pup to use the crate while not having to worry about the previous dog's smells. It fit perfectly! The new pup took to the crate immediately!

Do not use in crate

Purchased these for a long trip, thinking the dogs would not over heat and still have some cushion. What happened is they have no traction! Very slippery in crates, extremely thin, overall poor construction for your dollar.

Get something else- not this

Although this might be good for under a more comfy cage pad (for extra padding), this is not one I will use. Got two but should have gotten one to try first. Stiff, thin, ugly color, and wish I would have ordered something else.

Way Too Short

I ordered the medium dog mat and found it to be two inches smaller that the 28" indicated. So it really does not fit her crate. It's so small that I thought that Chewy sent the wrong item. They assured me that what I received was the medium size mat. My dog loves it even though its a bit too short!

Size smaller than advertised

I ordered the 28" mat for my dog's crate. Had measured beforehand to be sure of fit, but when it arrived it was too small & when I measured the mat it was actually just under 26 1/4" x 17 1/2" (not the 28 x19" it says in description.) Also, the back is very slippery, which is not a good thing whether you use it as a crate pad or a bed (& its too thin for use as a bed.)

Not for larger dogs or chewy puppies

Within hours two bulldogs destroyed these and ate the thin foam filler. way too expensive. Not a solid fleece as expected.

great for sleeping and nap time

I use travel dog pads in our black lab's crate and for dog beds around the house. (She doesn't "real" dog beds and refuses to use them - drags them around and bites them!). We were in need of a replacement and this is a perfect fit and match for her old ones. I'll be buying more of these for sure!

Not bad, but should be double sided and is only single.

I thought it was double sided when I ordered it. my mistake. the item is okay, but a little pricey for a single sided fleece pad.

Our puppy wouldn't leave this alone

It's nice & soft & washable, but we could'nt use it. Our puppy would drag it out of kennel and run around with it. She apparently thought it was a toy. Maybe if I had got a bigger one she would have let it be.
