Very Nice Travel Carrier
We are very pleased with the EliteField travel carrier. It is well made, sturdy and has several, helpful features. Our 13lbs Dachshund just fits into it and we have started training him to go into it. So far, so good..... I think he feels snug, if a little unsure, but can see out well and chew on his toys! First trip is in a few days, so we are glad to have this to help out. The carrier came right on schedule and the purchase through Chewy was very smooth.
Appears well made but design flaws make it unusable
Unfortunately I can't get either of my cats to get comfortable in this. The fabric looks sturdy & the firm bottom panel appears to give support when toting. But there are deal-breaker problems: 1) the bag comes folded during shipment & those creases don't come out, so the 2 ends never get pushed out fully & are caved in right into their faces (see pics). So they endlessly turn trying get themselves some room. 2) There is only mesh on the top half of the bag, so if they do lay down they have canvas right in front of their faces so they just stand up again. If you have smaller cats that like to hide then this might work for you but my medium sized cats hate this.
Cute carrier!
This carrier met all my expectations. Sturdy, functional and great looking as well! My kitty loves to lay in there even while not traveling. Live the pockets for storage. Highly recommended!
Perfect carrier for short trips or if headed to the vet
Perfect, my cat went right in! Perfect size , 1 review said it collapsed on there cat, my experience as long as you put the base in it won't collapse. Fast shipping ordered on Friday night had on Sunday morning. I would recommend this carrier for vet appointments and short travel .I would not recommend for a long trip
not worth the money
I bought this for my 5 pound dashchund and it did not even last a week. I get she is a puppy and chews but it was not even that. The mesh does not hold for being a dog carrier, it rips so easily for the price I paid. I wouldn’t recommend it.
Wonderful!!
This is one of the best purchases I’ve made to date. It isn’t so big that it overwhelms my already anxious cat and it isn’t so small that he’s crowded in there. It’s the perfect size for my cat!
Not the best
I really wanted to like this bag but with the way it collapses in on itself even without my cat in it is not ideal. With my cat in it the weight puts more pressure down on the bag which causes the sides of the bag to collapse inward. There needs to be more reinforcement on the sides and the bottom of the bag. I picked the light blue and it is really pretty and the pockets are great but the bag itself doesn't work for us. Now that I have used it I'm not sure if i can return it or not.
Perfect For my 3 Year old Cat!
I'm moving soon so I wanted to get a carrier, for my cat. Lucky I found this cause my cat loves this so much she'll actually go in there to sleep at night if I leave the carrier open, She loves it, so I love it! 10/10
Perfect for my Maltipoo
I ordered this dog carrier for airplane travel with my Maltipoo. We used it this past weekend and it was perfect. Granted, she's really small (she's a puppy but shouldn't get bigger than 6 lbs) but she was so comfortable. It really made travel so much more enjoyable than I expected it to be.
Disappointed!
I ordered black and it looked good. However; the metal that held the ends was bowed in and took away 2 to 3 inches of the carrier. Was not able to fix and was going to return, but the employee told me to just donate it somewhere and she would give me a credit.
