Description

Emerald Pet Fresh Breath Formula Dental Treats are truly innovative. The firm exterior scrapes teeth clean, while the yummy interior offers health-promoting ingredients. By extruding the treats, experts were able to retain a gummy texture that surrounds the tooth during chewing. This gummy texture scrapes the teeth clean during both the up and down motion of the jaw for twice the scraping action. These treats also help eliminate bad breath with all natural ingredients like dill, parsley, mint and chlorophyll. With a taste dogs love, plus dental benefits for their health, Emerald Pet Canine Dental Treats are the ideal way to reward both you and your loved companion!

FIRST treat/bone EVER our 10 y/o dog REFUSED!

    By on

We ordered these for several reasons and our 10 year old pit bull/lab mix LOVES ANY kind of dental chew (hard) mint-flavored dental-care treats---she took one lick of one of these and she won't even try them---she is NOT A PICKY EATER---so we were shocked after NEVER having her refuse any kind of treat, I thought I owed it to other customers to let you know: buyer beware!

    Bad breath relief

    By on

I have been purchasing these treats, either through a store or Chewy, because it is an amazing product. My little girl had bad breath and the mint in this treat has worked wonders. Seems to have helped her teeth some, too. I will continue to buy this product, but I wish Chewy would carry the small treat size, as I have to cut them for my small fur baby.

    Dogs love them

    By on

So I do have to use a large knife and cut them in half or it can be a challenge for my Havanese to chew them, but they love them. I give them a half after breakfast every morning. No tummy upset like the greenies give my pups. I can't say they totally freshen their breathe so I do have a dental foam and brush teeth every couple days as well. But every little bit helps.............and they think they are terrific!

Good product but my dog didn't like it.

    By on

My little Maltipoo Bella didn't not like these treats. I think because they are mint. I have a dental gel for her teeth and gums that I put on and she does not like it, so unfortunately she did not like the taste once she got the taste of the mint. Its too bad they don't come in another flavor, as I think its a good product. I thank Chewy.com for refunding my money and I will be ordering more stuff from them. Great company with excellent customer service.

My dog hates these . . . and the neighbor's dog didn't want to finish it either!

    By on

I do not have a picky dog, but my dog did not want to eat these. She plows through most treats. I gave her one, and it took two days to destroy it. She basically tore little pieces of it apart when she was bored (and she's a power chewer) and left them all over the house. I took one to my neighbor's dog who is also not picky. She slowly ate about half of it, and then left the other half.

One of the few without rice

    By on

One of my pugs is allergic (officially tested) to: FISH; SHELLFISH;RICE; POTATOES; SWEET POTATOES; COW'S MILK; SOY; TURKEY; PEANUTS & has other food sensitivities, including spinach and carrots. He's on raw meat mostly. So far wheat is ok, so I'm very glad to have found these. Brachycephalic dogs like pugs often have tooth and breath problems. Since my pugs are registered Therapy Dogs, who kids read to, it's important they don't have bad breath. They always get one of the small size before a Therapy Dog visit. Both pugs LOVE these, but then, there are very few foods pugs will not at least attempt to eat! If you are interested in seeing them, please visit their blog, Pug Snort Report.

    Treats for GSD

    By on

I use these as treats, and purchased the small ones in hopes they last longer. Also used as a training tool. --I also purchased the Wagners Finches Delux, Nyjer Seed, and Black oil Sunflower large bag, I got the black sunflower because the squirrels would take it from the bird feed, I try to keep the two bird feeders clean thus less than half full. But it seems they prefer eating the seed that has fallen to the ground, so I throw sum on the ground as well (prob a bad habit). My only regret, getting the Nyjer Seed..i now have a covey of dove that come in, and a number of finches that frequent the feeders, neither seem to be eating it. Live and learn:)
