I have been using another brand for several years this has lots of good reviews but it just doesn’t work my dogs teeth look nasty just after using it a short time going to trash it and go back to my original brand.
Unfortunately, my cat refuses to drink water with this product in it. It does have a scent and seeing as she won’t drink it, I have to assume it has a flavor (that she isn’t a fan of) too. Disappointing, but she might just be pickier than others.
This has been a breath of fresh air (last pun, I promise). Not really sure what it tastes like to our dog, but it doesn't change how much water he drinks, so that's a good thing. Every since we started putting a capful in his water each day our family and friends have all noticed that his teeth are whiter. And my wife and I have noticed that his breath his wayyyy better (he's a big kisser). I've already recommended this to several friends, and I will absolutely be buying more when we run out.
This is such a lifesaver! I give my Frenchies salmon oil as supplement but as a result of this they constantly have really foul breath. It’s hard to remove the smell even with daily brushing as Frenchies are known to have really crooked teeth and there are always area so hard to reach. This product works wonders! I have been adding this to the pups’ drinking water and now even when they stick their heads right in front of me - which they love to do of course - there’s no more unpleasant smells! Now I can truly say I enjoy their wet Frenchie kisses! Haha!
I bought this as a gift for my next door neighbor who has mentioned to me that her puppy is suffering from some tooth problem. Hence bad breath. I remembered a colleague of mine at work used a similar product on his dog so I came on Chewy and came across this product. Seems easy enough to use and undetectable. Happy to report that my neighbor said that it worked! It is gentle and effective and she said she will purchase it when she runs out.
My dog doesn’t have the best breath, so I bought this and you can notice a difference within the first couple days. There isn’t a strong odor and my dog didn’t seem to have noticed a difference in his water. Instructions were easy to follow and I was able to do the right concentration for my dogs bowl.
This dental care smells really good with mild peppermint flavor. My cat is very finicky and doesn’t like to try anything new, but this he liked and I noticed that he was drinking more water than his usual amount. His breath smells good too at the same time taking care of his teeth. One added benefit, because of peppermint smell, any fruit flies you might have get attracted to this water .When I find any dead ones in water, I just dump it.
We Love our small-headed runt! She's always had stomach issues. We have her on special food w/ salmon so her breath ALWAYS smells! I started giving her 1/2 of a capful to start as a test. She had no stomach problems or runny poop. So I startled giving her a whole capful as directed. Her breath isn't minty like it smells in the bottle. Her breath actually has no smell at all now. That's a plus!
Made our dog vomit and diarrhea for 2 straight days. And all from only 1 serving. Confirmed by our vet that there couldn't have been any other cause. Literally reacted with her body as if if were straight poison.
I have an elderly Shih tzu who does not let me brush her teeth. She has bad breath and this product helps the smell. It is easy to use with adding to their water bowl and she drinks water a lot. The bottle lasts a while and is a good value. I will recommend this to others with elderly dogs that do not allow their teeth to be brushed.
