We all think our horses are "Equus Magnificus," and these treats show them that we do! They are moist and fragrant with molasses and oats and can be sniffed out of any pocket, trust me. They are moist enough that they don't bother my horse, who suffers from mild summer allergies. The smaller, drier treats sometimes make him cough, but these do not.
So the horses love these treats. no denying it! However when you look at the ingredients they are making this with seed oil. seed oil is bad for us humans as well as all of our pets Don’t think I will be purchasing again! If anything I am going to really be looking at the ingredients I am feeding my horses
I bought the 14 lb tub for the 80+ equines at Equine Advocates, Chatham, NY. They love these and I love giving them to them. Sept. 13th, treats for all at the Sancturary. Love you all. Hugs from your Grandma Bea
These treats are soft enough that I can put a pill into the center and mold the muffin around it. My suspicious and picky eater looks forward to these treats and never notices the medicine. My vet actually started us on them!
If given the chance, I think my horses would fight over the last cookie, so they are evidently very yummy. Also, easy to break apart which is great because my guys are both seniors and can't handle a large cookie.
I have a 25-year-old gelding that needs daily meds for Cushings and arthritis. These treats are soft, and so I can push his pills into a treat and feed it to him by hand, ensuring that he takes his daily meds (as opposed to just putting the meds in his feed and hoping he eats them). He's a finicky eater, but he loves these treats.
I've totally won my mean little pony over with these treats. My husband and I think they smell good enough to eat...we may be trying them soon ;)
These German Horse Muffins are literally over the top. My horse is addicted to them. If I open my tack trunk, he will start pawing and nickering until he gets a treat. He LOVES them!!!!! Best price I have found is at Chewy's
My horses love these. Great for giving pills. But I really just use as a treat. Get the most attention from all horses when I open the bag. ;)
SO EXPENSIVE BUT MY HORSE PURDY LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES THEM...SHE WON THE RACE YESTERDAY AND GOT LOTS OF GERMAN HORSE MUFFINS. LOL
