Mix approximately 25% of the new food in with the previous food for the first three days. For the next three days, mix half of the new food and half of the previous food for three days. Lastly, mix 25% of the previous food with the new food. At the end of this period, you will then be able to feed the new food to your dog solely.

4 cans in the case are dented. I probably won't order this one again because of the dented cans.

Unfortunately our Shepherd refuses to eat this

Since our Shepherd loves to try and steal our cat's fish varieties of wet food, I really thought she would love this and it would be another option for our allergy prone girl. Well, I've wasted 2 cans over 3 days with her refusing to eat it, even with toppers and a dollop of cat food on top! I can't imagine what is turning her off, the ingredients are great, it has a fishy smell, and is a very moist, dense pate. Not sure what I'll do with the other 10 cans, and I'm very disappointed since it had great reviews. Sigh....

Smells but my Dog loves it

It definitely has a bit of an odor, but that’s to be expected when something has fish in it. It also has multiple types of fish in it which is awesome. I primarily use canned food to stuff Kongs so the case of 12 will last for a while and I’m not mad at the price considering this is a food that is supposed to be competing with Orijen.

Great food

My two labradors love Essence wet canned dog food. Thick pate form with a high protein content. I combine wet food with dry kibble.
