Great Food!
My cat loves this food. Cleans his bowl every time. The texture is very smooth and uniform, hydrating but definitely not watery or soupy. Pretty good price for the quality ingredients too. Will definitely be ordering again!
Not mold, but fat
I saw other reviews mentioning white stuff at bottom of can and assuming it was mold. The cans I purchase did also have this stuff but it looked like fat/grease to me, and not really like mold. I even put some in a container on my counter to test it out (assuming that if it was mold, it would continue to grow - nothing happened). I contacted the manufacturer on their website and they confirmed that fat can congeal in the can like that. It's possible other people did have mold, but in my cans it was grease. Anyway - onto the actual review. I am only a few cans in but it seems to be going ok for my cat with colitis. It's hard to find foods without poultry or fish so I've never been sure if those were a source of his issues - so, fingers crossed this does the trick! And he seems to love the taste - eats more than he usually does all at once.
My cats love this
They tried the Air & Gamefowl recipe first and devoured it. Ranch & Meadow is loved just as much. I'm keeping both in their feeding rotation.

My cats will eat this flavor no problem. The ingredients are great and healthy and the fact my kitties enjoy it just make this even better. It would be nice to see more varieties come out from this brand.
best can food
i hope chewy keeps this food. seems like when i find a can food my cat can eat they don’t carry it anymore. my cat can’t have anything that had feathers (chicken, duck, turkey etc) he loves this pork can food!
Was hoping my cats would like this, but no.
My cats like the dry version of this food, but they do not like the canned version. I've tried adding warm water to it, but they still don't want to eat it. Even the outside stray cats don't want to eat it. Very odd, the ingredients are good, and they like the dry version, so I just don't get why they won't eat the canned. Cats just love to keep us guessing, I suppose.
Neither cat likes it
Palatability is poor price is good even my home what all eat cat flowers are hesitant to finish eating
White mold??
I have a hard time finding chicken free cat food and my cats really do love this wet food flavor, but I just opened a can that has what appears to be pretty significant white mold - see photo. My cats were still trying to eat it but I immediately grabbed it and threw it away. I contacted the manufacturer and I'm not sure I feel comfortable feeding my cats any essence products until I can get a firm answer on what they're doing to address this. Bummer because my cats do like this brand.
Not their favorite
Always looking to try new cat food for the kitty kids. This flavor they didn't care for at all. It's a drier pate. I always add a little water to their wet food, they still wouldn't eat it. Maybe my cats don't like lamb as much. They preferred the air and fowl flavor from this brand more.
