Tough and fun!
My 7 month old pug (who is an intense chewer with most of his adult teeth) LOVES this chew toy. The cross bone helps him hold it in place for longer chewing sessions and the material seems tasty to him and soothing (as those adult teeth are still erupting).
not for aggressive or medium chewers
Like most of these types of bones it says in the back they are not supposed to be ingested. Well my dog who is not an aggressive chewer bit a piece off almost immediately. Bene ones are way better. My dog is able to chew it enough so that only tiny pieces come off. (Smaller than rice size)
terrible smell
My dog was excited to get at this bone, and I was happy for her to have something that would last a while and be good for her teeth. The problem was that the bone has a terrible urine smell. I don't know if they all smell like that, but I tried soaking it in soapy water for hours, and that didn't make a difference. My dog won't chew it.
Not as durable as other brands
I was curious to try this brand, but it doesn't hold up nearly as well as similar products from Benebone or Nylabone. Pieces started coming off after just a few minutes of chewing. My dog's other nylon chews usually last several chew sessions, so to have this one break down so quickly was a surprise.
Destroyed
Gave this to my 6 year old lab and by the time I checked on him an hour later half of it was ingested. I have purchased others that lasted along time for tough chewers. This one is not it.
Chew bones
My doggies are big on chew bones but this one really disappointed them. Not interested in them at all, back to the nylabones for nxt time!
Doesn't hold up to aggressive chewers
I thought this boned looked like a great shape for my dog to hold onto and also a tough bone for aggressive chewers. After only 5 minutes of use, I noticed blood on the bone and pieces starting to come off. I immediately took the bone away from my dog and will not be using it again. A waste of money sadly.
Fantastic
Our dogs love these bones. They hold them between their paws just like in the pictures they chew on them for long periods of time.
Pup loves it
Rottie pup has had this since he was 3 months old. He still loves it! Put it in the freezer while he was teething and 4 months later the toy is still going strong, not destroyed like to many others.
Not so Tough
Supposedly for super chewers... Tossed after about a half hour of chewing. 10lb terrier on a large Bam Bone - NO match! Biting/scraping off pieces that could have been deadly if swallowed!
