    The lids split? Really? I’ve had my lids for several years and have used them every day. They’ve not split because unlike those complaining, I use them on the size can they’re meant to be used on, ie: ones that are 3.5 inches in diameter. Of course they’re going to split if you use them on a 5.5 The lids split? Really? I’ve had my lids for several years and have used them every day. Of course they’re going to split if you use them on a 5.5 inch can! Hard to complain for the price. Use them on the right sized can and they will last for years. … more

    Plastic rim split open

    My original reason for buying this product is that I thought it would be an environmentally friendly method of sealing the cans. Also, I thought the lids looked attractive. They are. The problem is that the lids are just a drop too "tight" to adequately cover my cans (we use the 5.5 oz cans of Blue My original reason for buying this product is that I thought it would be an environmentally friendly method of sealing the cans. Also, I thought the lids looked attractive. They are. The problem is that the lids are just a drop too "tight" to adequately cover my cans (we use the 5.5 oz cans of Blue Healthy Gourmet Pate {cat}). I was able to "stretch" the lid on top of the can; however, the result was that in one place the rim of the plastic lid split open. See attached two photos. … more
