This isn’t the best puzzle feeder but it’s okay. The suction cups don’t work and it slides around while my cats are using and they were able to figure out that they can dump it on its side and spill the treats out lol. I would only buy it if it’s on sale.
This would be great if it actually suctioned to the floor. But since it doesn't my poor cat ended up just pushing it around the kitchen for a while then stuck his whole little face into the puzzle slots to get the food. If it wasn't used I'd return it. Don't waste your money - buy something better
We bought this for our deaf kitten. She also has very little sense of smell so she is quite picky and she can't use a puzzle that requires her to sniff out the treats. She will only eat kibble. She wouldn't touch this at first but now loves to forage for her food. It's easy to clean, sticks tightly to a smooth surface, has several different foraging methods. The price is very reasonable.
suction cups don't anchor this feeding tray at all, and one was defective - not helpful when the cat is hungry and impatient
My cat is VERY food motivated but this was just beyond him. He steals the dog's food but just didn't get this. I think not every cat is going to go after stuff with his paws. Our last cat would do hide and seek with his paws when we hid treats under his rug, behind his dish, etc. This cat just doesn't get that game. Maybe your cat will get it. Ours didn't so this was a total flop. I was looking for a circular maze-type thing but this was the only option Chewy had. I'm too lazy to go to the store, thanks to you--lol!!!
I bought this at full price at a pet store. Wish I had waited and got it on sale at Chewy. My pet likes the puzzle however, the suction cups on the bottom don't work and because it doesn't lie flat on the ground it moves around a lot. I've tried putting it on different floor surfaces around my home and even put a mat underneath which helps a little but it still moves around everywhere.
The suction cups DO NOT work. So yeah, it slows my cat down and makes him work for his food, but mostly because he's chasing this across the floor. It's on a hard surface and I've even tried wetting the suction cups and scrubbing the floor. Nothing makes these suction cups stick to my floor for even a second. Until I can figure out how to make it stop moving, I literally have to sit with my hand on the top to keep it in place while my cat figures out level 1
I bought this as an upgrade for my very bored and overweight cat that seemed to be enjoying his other more simple puzzle feeders. However, he never got into and would leave food and treats untouched. So, being a cat sitter I decided to use it for kitties I look after. Many become very bored, especially if they're parents are away for extended periods. This was a hit!! I recently used this for a kitty that I was looking after for 2 weeks. Even with twice daily visits he gets very bored so I would sprinkle kibble and move the puzzle to different locations to give Winks variety. He loved it and I would find this knocked off counters, flipped over and smacked into corners lol I can just imagine the fun he had emptying it out! I also use this along with the Doc and Phoebe mouse which is also the best cat product I've purchased in a while! This does have suction cups to prevent it from moving but they're pretty ineffective on most surfaces.
My two year old cat loves to “shop”. Digging into boxes, bags, toys is her thing. She started playing with this immediately! Great purchase
Initially, my cats figured out how to open the doors pretty quickly. They've had other food puzzles, so they went to Level 3 right off the bat. However, there is an undocumented Level 4. They also very quickly figured out how to turn it over onto its side, all the doors fly open at once, and 'soups on'!
