Would these be too hot for my dog on a long walk in the summer? (She has allergies & I'm hoping this will help.)

This product is perfect for rain and snow, heat and sand, or just around the house. These boots are made out of fleece and may make your pet feel hot.

These boots are not waterproof.
Is there Velcro around the sock to help hold it in place?

These boots feature a Velcro strip so that they may be tightened around the dogs lower leg. It is important that they are snug but not too tight.

FUNCTION???

SO SAD...REALLY HOPED AND PRAYED FOR THESE TO WORK!!! BUT SADLY......NOT THE CASE!! WHILE THESE DO LOOK GOOD, THEY ARE EASY TO PUT ON...BUT...THE TEAR RIGHT AWAY! GOT ONE TIME PUT THEM ON, HE WALKED IN THE GRASS AND THEY TORE RIGHT AWAY. THERE ISN'T ANY STRUCTURE TO THESE AT ALL. GRANTED I GOT THEM BECAUSE OF THE PRICE AND LOOK..JUST TO SEE IF THEY WOULD WORK ON OUR DOG. WHILE THEY DID GO ON, AND IT WAS EASY...JUST ONE WALK IN THE GRASS AND THEY WERE DONE FOR. VERY THIN FELT--FLEECE. MY WINTER GLOVES ARE MUCH THICKER THAT THIS. OUR DOG IS EXTREMELY ALLERGIC TO GRASSES AND ENVIRONMENTAL THINGS AND HIS POOR PAWS LOOK LIKE THEY ARE GOING TO BLEED! WE ARE TRYING SO MANY DIFFERENT THINGS TO HELP HIM AND HOPED THIS WOULD BE A GREAT SOLUTION..BUT NO. I AM GOING TO HAVE TO RESEARCH SOM OTHER SHOES THAT WILL HOLD UP TO WALKING IN THE GRASS.

Does the job

My dog had allergy eczema on his paw pads making it difficult for him to walk on anything but cool tile and these booties made it easy for him to walk on any surface outdoors. They are lightweight almost like craft felt and the Velcro straps mostly keep them in place. We’ve been using them on daily walks for over a week and the booties are holding up fine.

Cloth boots

They're great for indoors, but not outdoors!! I put some balm on her pads if they're red or cracked, then put these "socks" on to keep her from licking it off. They're great for that & she leaves them on!

worn once, pad fell off

My dog wore these once and the pad on the bottom has already come off! While not a design flaw per se, be aware that these boots are no water proof, so if you get a “wintry mix” where you live with a mix of puddles, ice and snow, these will get wet quickly.

These don't even stay on my dog's feet. The strap doesn't have the right amount of Velcro.

-35 windchill

These are the best booties super comfortable on my dog. He has never lost one. We have snow on the ground with -35 windchill he’s running around the yard having the time of his life.

still trying to get them on her.

Fleece Bootie

These work well for keeping the snow out from between the toes. They're light weight so my boy doesn't mind wearing them. They will get wet, but they work for us!
