I've created a monster! My youngest cat, Boots, loves laser toys. I had/have been using the PetSafe Bolt Interactive Laser Cat Toy [https://www.chewy.com/petsafe-bolt-interactive-laser-cat/dp/55754] as it allows me to turn it on and continue on with my morning chores (Feeding cats; 'watering' cats I've created a monster! With this NEW toy, the Ethical Pet Laser Exerciser [https://www.chewy.com/ethical-pet-laser-exerciser-original/dp/56335], Boots has learned two things. The only issue - and it is NOT a problem with the toy - it is that I tire out before the cat. She is overweight and she will chase the laser as long as I will let her. NOTE: Keep the laser away from your pets eyes and don't forget to let your pet 'catch' the beam once in a while, it prevents frustration. I do this by turning it off briefly when she 'catches' the beam. Using this as a laser toy and as a 'flashlight' I have had NO problems with the battery life or inconsistent operation. We use BOTH laser toys now. … more

In my opinion these are the WORST toys you can play with your dog with. It ruins them. Adds to anxiety and increases prey drive and since they can't ever catch it, there is no satisfaction. I had to part with my best friend who was exceptional 99 percent of the time but this toy ruined him. Constantly In my opinion these are the WORST toys you can play with your dog with. It ruins them. I had to part with my best friend who was exceptional 99 percent of the time but this toy ruined him. Constantly chasing reflections and shadows even in the car. DO NOT GET THIS FOR YOUR DOG. IF YOU WANT THEM TO EXERCISE, GET YOUR LAZY BUTT OFF THE COUCH AND WALK THEM. … more
