New Favorite Ball

Roxy loves balls and can be very picky about which ones she likes to play with. She loves balls with a good bounce and that make noise. As you can imagine, we're not too keen on the noisy balls. This ball is a good compromise. There is some noise, a bell inside, so it's not too loud. She also like a nice bounce to her balls. One of her favorite things to do is to dribble the ball. That is more of a drop - bounce - catch which she will do several times in a row. This ball has a good rebound for her. She is not usually a destroyer of balls. The only exception is if she sees a weakness or something sticks out then she will end up chewing the ball to shreds. So far after 3 weeks the ball has maintained it's integrity. I think it's one of those balls that will last for her. If you have a dog who aggressively chews, this ball may not stand up to that.

New favorite ball!

Our pup is oddly picky when it comes to ball texture. She'll always chase but won't continue to engage with most balls with traditional "tennis ball" material. Until now she only liked using the chuck-it squeaky blue ball. This is her new favorite. We'll be ordering more!

Pretty good!

My dog can destroy almost any toy within minutes, but we have better luck with balls so we tried this. The squeaker in this toy stopped working in the first week, but he absolutely loves this toy. When we first gave it to him he actually made happy crying-like noises when chewing it. The ball does have an odor, but unless your dog breathes on your face with it in his mouth, it’s not to bad.

Best Ball Ever!

This ball wins the chew test for our dog! He usually destroys chewy balls and removes the squeaker in minutes. Ranger has had this ball for 3 days and it is still like new. He is truly in love with it and begs us to play fetch with him at all hours.. It has various texture and sounds and bounces well-- highly recommend for your tough chewer!

Best ball ever

My 5 month old pup is super picky when it comes to balls. She destroys them within minutes. I ordered this and it has been fantastic! I ordered the 3in ball. It’s durable, definitely hits all sensory points and she loves how bouncy it is! I ended up buying 2 more for back ups.

Bad smell both dogs seem to love

This ball smells horrible, it is described on here as the "beef" scent but it smells like moldy rubber to me. My dogs still love it though. Catch was a favorite game but now it is just CHEW on this ball. I would give this a 5 star rating, I can't because It started separating in half a few days ago. I'm letting them keep it until it fully separates. I'd still say it was worth it for the hours of chew stimulation.

Great fun for pups but...

We've had this ball for about 2 weeks. We have 2 large breed chew-oriented dogs - not destructive, just chew-oriented. Since this ball came into our lives, it has been in the mouth of one dog or the other for at least 10 hours a day every day without fail. It rests between the paws or other protected body part of the most current owner during naps and bedtime. All other balls have been abandoned and forgotten. Throwing the ball - a previous favorite game - is no longer the thing to do because CHEW is the new favorite game. As much as I would love this to get a 5 star rating, I just can't because it's not going to last much longer with my two dogs. It started separating in half a few days ago. I'm letting them keep it until it fully separates. All in all, I'd still say it was worth it for the hours upon hours of sensory stimulation for their chew need. They would rate it a 5 and probably blame the issue on me not getting one for each of them.

Great toy, horrid smell

I've bought two of these for my mom's little dog and my own dog to play with. They last well, and my aggressive chewer has yet to pop a hole in either of them. The little dog is absolutely in LOVE with these balls. Our only problem so far with these balls is that the rubber smells like pee. We'd thought the first one had gotten dirty, cleaned it multiple times, and decided to buy the second ball only to find it was in fact the rubber that smells like pee. Other than the horrific assault on noses, the balls are fantastic.

Great toy for chewers!

My. Dog. Loves. This. Ball!!! He's a super chewer so a lot of toys are not an option for him. I wanted something brighter and more fun (and cheaper) than the Kong toys and this fit the bill. Sometime during the first couple of days he deflated it and I was disappointed even though he loved it flat. Then suddenly, it popped back to a full ball! Turns out there's a tiny hole that allows some "give" so now I can tell this toy will really hold up. Great value!

My 10 year old Rat Terrier

My 10-year-old wrap terrier Bruno has lost vision in his left eye so it’s hard for him to see toys he still wants to play desperately buying this toy and another one from Chewie has helped tremendously she likes to play fetch even though it’s getting harder for him to see.
