    Dead squirrel

By Cometsmom on May 1, 2021

Ivy, the huntress, didn't let this squirrel live long after it entered our home. Comet had a squirrel for a long time and didn't tear it up, but Ivy, who recently came to live with us and has killed before, destroyed Comet's squirrel shortly after discovering it in the toy baskets. Not a Good Toy

By Kathy on Jan 19, 2021

My dog loves squirrels and the previous squirrel toy which was a gift wore out after 4 years. I ordered this squirrel toy as it is similar to the one my dog previously had. The squeaker in the body does not work. There is no squeaker in the tail as some others had reported. plush squirrel toy

    By on

I bought this toy to replace one that my pug had finally chewed through to the stuffing. It was for our pug, but both our dogs, the pug and a medium size mutt both love it. They carry it around, bring it to me to toss across the room to play fetch and just lay in their beds and chew on it.

For soft chewers, like the description mentions

    By on

My 6 month old puppy loved it, I just wish we could have had more than a few hours with it. It was quickly, and easily, torn apart. The tail fur was also pulled out easily, and ended up in clumps everywhere. In fairness, the description does say it's for soft chewers, but she has other plush toys that are still in tact. Maybe she just doesn't enjoy them as much as she did the squirrel? And not a complaint, but other reviews mentioned a squeaker in the tail in addition to the one in the body. The description only says it has one, and that's all that we got. Cute toy, but not for dogs who like to tear things apart.

    Amazing toy for Westies

    By on

My Westie loves this squirrel. It makes two different sounds, it squicks when you squeeze the tail, and make other noise that I would say sound like honk ( reminds me geese sound) that drives my westie nuts ( in a godd way)

The evil rodent has met it's match

    By on

The dogs adore this, and I adore seeing them run around to kill the vermin squirrel of demonspawn. My only complaint is the big tube squeaker is VERY hard to activate. I can't get it by squeezing at all. I have to like... Slap it between my hands or punch it, which is great for stress on my part but tends to frustrate the pooches. Tail squeaker, however, is much softer and enjoyed.

    Puppy Loves it!

Even though its almost as big as he is, my 3lb puppy is crazy about this toy, especially the fluffy tail with squeaker.

    Squirrel Does Not Squeek

Disappointed - the squirrel will not squeek. Dogs don't want it.

    My Dog's Favorite Toy

    By on

Like other people have written, my dog is also obsessed with squirrels and from the moment I gave this to him, it's his favorite toy. Riley is a "thrasher" and this toy has pretty strong seams. We've had it for weeks now before he really was able to start tearing it up. The grunter and squeakers are also really strong. Plus it's a good cuddle toy. Riley will try to murder it one minute and the next minute he's carrying it to his bed to use as a pillow!
