Good but narrow and dark color

My cat is 16 so he has more than one set of stairs. He uses them without problem. This set he won't use. Don't know if it's the more narrow steps or the dark color, but he won't use them. But other than that, seems like a good set of stairs. Easy to set up and light weight.

These steps were super easy to put together but my dog is afraid to use them because it is in all black. I am going to try to put different colored material on the tops of the steps so maybe she will try it.

Love the stairs

It took my dachshund a little while to use the stairs but now that he is trained on them he uses them regularly to get on and off of the couch. I am glad he likes them because he was starting to have back issues from jumping off the couch.

DANGEROUS - Do Not Buy

(1) VERY Flimsy & Poor Quality & DANGEROUS — One stair broke within literally 3 days. The stair tops (as they are removable for storage) are made of two pieces of composite wood barely stapled together. The bottom piece separated and fell into the storage space. The stair top became mobile and slid off the side. The bottom piece, now in the storage space, was left with a half dozen protruding staples pointing upwards. This essentially turned the stairs into a SPIKE PIT. ___________ Less concerning problems if you somehow need more reasons not to buy this: ___________ (2) Not For Old Dogs/Dogs With Bad Eyesight — My dog is 15 years old, so he really can't see the matte black stairs at all and misses at least one stair every time he tries to use it. ___________ (3) The Stairs Are Very Shallow — My dog, with bad knees, can't get the proper purchase to comfortably climb even when can see it (in bright light) enough to try. ___________ (4) Not For Any Non-Miniature Dogs — Problem #3 also means that any dog bigger than probably 20lbs will also not be able to use the stairs comfortably (the stairs are just too small). ___________ Luckily, Chewy allowed a refund with no questions asked. ___________ ***TL;DR*** Stairs fell apart in 3 days and their poor construction turned them into a staple SPIKE PIT, they're invisible to dogs with bad eyesight, & they're not suitable for breeds larger than 20lbs. ___________ (p.s. Chewy's review function does not allow paragraphs breaks which is why it looks like this)

Useful product.

I promptly received this item. Very easy to put together. It is well made and sturdy. My little Chihuahua used this from day one to get on to the couch. Each step opens to store toys or whatever you want. Highly recommend. The color black fits in with any decor.
