This thing is fantastic!
Okay I haven't had a real chance to use it outdoors in the heat yet but so far I'm impressed. If you gently press your hand on the pad you can really feel it get cold! I'm not going to lie I wasn't very optimistic that this would work that well. And so far the kitty approves too! Purchased to use in my outdoor mesh cat tent for shade and cooling while we are camping. Easy to collapse and close with the loop and toggle. The pad is heavy and filled with liquid gel, the cover seems to be thick and sturdy. I'm just hoping my kitty doesn't puncture it....time will tell. I'll update if things go south.

So pleased with this purchase, I have a feral cat (Eevee :)) who has a winter home but needed something cool for Summer. This is perfect! My concern was the tent would blow away but the cooling center offers good weight/support to keep it on ground. We had a torrential downpour last night, sideway winds and all. Checked on shelter this morning and 1-was almost dry, water didn't sit inside as a huge puddle 2-was still in tact and in same location! Thank you, Chewy!
