I would have given a 5 but the stands threaded was stripped so my husband used a knob to secure it in one of the other holes. The foster kitten was 8 weeks old, I think the material caught under it the first time not securing it tightly anyway we found a resolution and the kitten played on it and it will go with her to her new home.
Kitty LOVES this!

My Cat spends HOURS playing with this! It came almost assembled... i just screwed in the scratcher and other piece (had the nail already on there. SO easy! My cat is obsessed with this toy! It is like 4 in 1 toy since it has the scratch tower, pull ball, and the puzzle balls inside. Love this and great quality!

This is small, but my cats enjoy it. It does tip over when they get enthusiastic, but they still play with it. I'm considering getting one for my nephew and nieces cats as well.
For teaching very young kittens

If I would have bought this for an older cat I would have been disappointed. However, I bought this for my 5 week old kitten to teach him to use a scratching post without worrying that he would fall from a higher distance. It’s only about a foot and a half high. He loves it still at almost 8 weeks and has transitioned to a larger cat tree that is my adult cats.

Not very good at all. Especially for the price. I knew it was a smaller play toy but, this is so small even for a kitten. Breaks very easy. Not worth the 40$.

Cute toy. Unfortunately the screw for the scratching post broke off.

I should have read the other review. This is cheap and tiny. I had it for less than a week and the larger scratching post completely fell off..
