Not great
I have this collar for about a year and when i first got it, it would slip about an inch when were I set it around my dog's neck. that was bad but the dog rarely pulled hard enough to free himself. Now the leather is so weak it slips 3 inches, and it is only by training that he doesn't just drop is whenever he wants.
Decent leather
We got another dog so I ordered two, replacing the same collar for the other pup but in a “pretty” color. The pinkish one I ordered was really closer to tan. I probably wouldn’t have reordered hers as her old one wasn’t much over a year old. It does bleed color onto her white fur when it got wet. But they’re still nice collars.
Plastic, not metal buckle
I bought this because I wanted a heavy duty, secure collar made from natural materials. The collar itself is leather, but the buckle is cheap plastic painted silver instead of metal like I was expecting. Really disappointed especially considering the price… paid for premium collar but received cheap plastic parts instead.
Beautiful!
It looks great but the only downfall to it is there’s no tiny dangle to hook his tags. I struggled getting the tiny rings onto the leash loop
Great Wellmade Collar
Love this collar! Our dog is a micro Goldendoodle that weighs 11lbs and we order a small. Fits perfect! It’s comfortable for him and love the protection flap under the snap closure, so you don’t risk pinching your dog when you snap it.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COLLAR!!!
I bought this for my puppy - next size up from the one he has, LUCKILY! I put it on and in less than a minute while he was eating it fell off. Took him outside on the leash after eating and in seconds it fell off and he went booking for the road. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COLLAR!!! I've never had such a HORRIBLE COLLAR!!!
Sturdy
This seems to be a very sturdy color and looks very good. I really like the stainless steel catch as I sometimes have trouble unfastening the plastic catches because of artharitus.
Great quality!
I got the 10"-15"coral color which looks between a orange and rose depending on the light. My Lucy had a 14-in buckle collar that was getting a bit snug so I just wanted to upgrade her an inch since she is grown. I was thinking that the max on this collar would be 15 in but it actually is much bigger than that. 15 in is as small as it goes. Which that is perfect for me so no problem. I also love that it is good workmanship with the American leather and the European steel. But when I read the tag and it said that part of the proceeds were donated to the Ukraine situation, that made it even better.
Well Thought Out!
We love this collar. Even though the collar is leather, it has a self contained adjustment system that eliminates the tail on a traditional belt buckle style collar. There is a leather patch that sits under the buckle to prevent snags on the dogs hair and a more comfortable fit. The buckle is also extremely durable and looks great. The D-Ring is equally durable for connecting a leash and/or ID tag. The width of the collar also works great for our air tag (see pictures). Love it!!! Wedding picture is by Homeland Photography.
Doesn’t stay on
This collar just fell off 2x in the matter of a few hours so I will be returning it. The clip is too sensitive and comes undone every time my dog scratches.
