I have a diabetic dog & finding a dog food low in carbohydrates that is palatable is difficult. He loves Hunk of beef , but just like the same brand chicken , it has broth in it that is very rich. I have found a way to use it in small quantities on his dry dog food, or the pasty dog food he doesn't care for & that works wonders! So I recommend this brand , but be aware of its richness.

My dog was quite impressed with this beef. She likes the juice and pieces of beef. It is worth the extra money. Good stuff!
No more leftovers

My dogs love evangers hunk of beef. They used to eat EVO until they went out of business. I tried quite a few other canned foods with no luck.
Thor says nope

We buy all of the Evangers food for our German Shepard and Great Dane. Hunk of Beef is the only one they turn their nose up at. All the other meats and combinations they love. I think its a good product, but my dogs are kind of pampered and picky so I wont buy this kind anymore.
They spin in circles when I open a can!

Hunks of beef in broth will entice the pickiest eater. It is rich so start off with a little bit.
Used to be my dog’s favorite. Quality a problem

My dog eagerly ate this for several years. We supplemented with fruits/vegetables. Ever since the scary 2017 recall, the quality has been spotty. The meat is no longer like a delicious-looking/smelling hunk of pot roast. It is smaller bits and pieces of meat. There’s more wet gravy. The meat is lighter in color and seems less tender. Overall disappointing. My dog no longer loves it.
Dogs go nuts for this food!

I can feed this every night and my dog never gets tired of it. It's always a winner.
My dog loves evangers

When there’s only ingredients I can pronounce, and my dogs love it, I’m sold.
NOT WHAT IT USE TO BE!

I HAVE FED THIS FOOD ON AND OFF LAST 7 YEARS. THIS IS NO LONGER IS A HUNK OF BEEF, ITS SMALLER PIECES PARTS WITH FAT AND GRISTLE. EMAILED EVANGER AND THEY SAID HAD TO CHANGE PROCESSING AND CAN NOW ONLY GET YOUNGER BEEF THATS WHY LIGHT IN COLOR. THAT WAS ONLY EXPLANATION I RECIEVED FROM EVANGERS.
