I ordered this item instead of out-of-stock Evanger's Organics Turkey Dinner. My little 11# rescue Bentley wouldn't touch it, it was large chunks, I tried mashing and no matter what I did with it he wouldn't touch it. After waiting all day, went to the store for the Organics Turkey Dinner and we were back on track. Who knew a stray-rescue would be so picky? Bentley doesn't even accept treats during the day, just a chew stick for bedtime. :^)

My dog loves the taste & I love that it is nutritious

For the price I would have thought there would be much more substance. The can is about 3/4 filled with broth which doesn't leave much space for meat/vegetables.

I am a big fan of Evangers, but this was very poor. It was over 50% water in the can. not the quality I would expect from them.

The meat does not look like turkey. It is in blocks just like the beef stew. Would be better if it looked like turkey but my dogs eat it

I tend to like to feed at each meal one product with a gravy and one that is a solid puree of food, so this was an experiment this week to see if my Irish Wolfhounds would like a new flavor. They do like it a lot.

We eliminated chicken from Xena's diet because we felt she had an allergy to chicken. Just realized that this Evanger's product....when I checked the ingredients.....contains only TURKEY. While the other Evangers turkey (w/potato and vegies)..when I recently checked the ingredients....was made in CHICKEN BROTH! I think that this new turkey product (although the chunks are not as appealing to Xena)...has helped her 'german shep stomach'..................

I love Evanger's products, however this one is mostly liquid, little solid meat, vegies. Not a very good bargain for a large dog
