  • Both of my dogs love this food!!!

    By on

I have a 3yr old beagle/fox terrier mix that we rescued last year who is EXTREMELY selective in what dog food she will eat. On top of that we just rescued a 3 lb. Chihuahua and as soon as we brought him home, Crystal decided to go on a hunger strike because she was not as sure about him as we were. I decided to give the Evanger's Grain Free Whole Chicken Thighs a try thinking maybe Crystal would finally eat. Well now not only does Crystal gobble it up, but Pip Squeak loves it as well! And they are both eating it together at meal time. I remove all the fatty stuff at the top of the can first. And I do not allow the little one to ingest any bones. I will squish the bones up really small before I have a 3yr old beagle/fox terrier mix that we rescued last year who is EXTREMELY selective in what dog food she will eat. I will squish the bones up really small before I give them to Crystal, but this is the only way she will eat her kibble is if I have this food mixed in with it. It is a little pricey compared to some of the other canned foods, but it is well worth it to see her happy & eating again along with her "little brother". … more

  • Dogs Love It, Humans Not

    By on

The dogs love the thighs, but they have a terrible smell that concerns us that there is something wrong with them. We will not reorder them.

  • Expensive but worth it

My dogs love the whole chicken thighs the best out of all Evanger's canned dog food. Large pieces of thighs are tenderly cooked in juice. They love it!

  • Real chicken

    By on

This is real chicken thighs cooked in the can. Even the bones are edible - squash them and see for yourself. My dogs think they are getting people food and especially love it.

Lip-smacking commences when this can comes out. My dog would be happy to eat this (and only this) every day.

  • Good Product

I liked it, but my Lab is old & has ulcers, so she could not eat it without throwing up. My other two dogs loved it. Could use a little less broth; too much compared to the meat.

  • Great for our sick dog

    By on

This product has been a lifesaver for our sick, anemic dog. The vet said he needed certain foods to help with his severe anemia including bone marrow, and this food contain whole bones that are soft and edible. This stuff does smell bad, but he loves it and so do our other 2 dogs.

  • Good food

    By on

Dogs (Cotons) were finicky - tried all kinds of dry and canned foods. The only food they quickly ate was broiled chicken from Sam's Club. Your thighs and braised beef are quickly eaten. Thank you
