The fact is this: dogs don’t live long enough. My puppy is ten weeks old and we are starting her on supplements to achieve the best health possible so that my little companion lives the longest healthiest life. I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion, so here goes... We are on a journey to health, and the brain health tablets seemed like a good first step since her brain is still growing. I have to wait until she weighs 20 lbs to give her the supplements daily, but she’s gaining weight so quickly I’m sure it will be only a few weeks. Now, the two tablets that she has had so far were difficult to administer. The tablets are about the size of a dime and thick. They can’t be chewed easily by a puppy. I had to break each one up before she’d eat it. She wasn’t that interested in them—maybe too hard to chew or no flavor? I then had to crush them and let her lick it up in ice cream. It worked. So, my only suggestion is to make them smaller or especially for puppies and small breeds. I’ll let her grow a bit more and try it again. I’m so happy Purina is making these antioxidants for dogs.
