    Evo is the only canned cat food sold by my vet, who practices both holistic and conventional medicine. My two 7 mo. old kittens and 10 yr old Burmese, love it. Their coats are glossy, and no digestive issues, which the 10 yr old experienced with previous foods. The primary ingredient is meat (NO bi-products!); no "chicken meal" or other fillers. I hadn't tried Evo for a long time bc in years past my cats would eat only a couple of bites, if any. So perhaps Evo changed the formula to improve palatability. It's certainly more $ than most brands and can be hard to find. Their website listed only one non-online source (my vet) in St. Louis. As every cat owner knows, cats' food preferences are subjective. But if you haven't tried Evo in several years, you may want to give it another try.     My cats won't touch this food....

    It doesn't smell terrible, but the pate consistency is strange. Almost pudding-like. Also, there're a number of 'gums' (used as binders) that I did't notice (my bad) before I bought; guar, cassia and xanthan. Probably why it's reminiscent of meat pudding.... The rest of this will get donated.
