Pregnant/Nursing Cats: Pregnant and nursing cats need Evolve Kitten Food to ensure kitten development and milk production while maintaining proper weight. During the first 6 weeks of pregnancy, feed the mother cat using the 40 - 49 week guidelines above. During the last 3 weeks of pregnancy, feed 2 times that amount. During nursing and weaning, feed up to 3 times the mount in the 40 - 40 week guidelines above. Adjust the amount to maintain a proper weight.

Transition Instructions

When switching to Grain Free Kitten Formula Cat Food from another cat food, it’s good to allow 7 to 10 days for the transition. Mix increasing amounts of Grain Free Kitten Formula Cat Food with decreasing amounts of your cat’s previous food until you are feeding only Grain Free Kitten Formula Cat food.

    Kiki loves it

    By on

I bought this food for my 2year old cat who is very picky and is hard to keep weight on. She took a little to warm up to the food but now she’s eating it regularly.

    Kittens like it!

    By on

I feed Evolve to my adult cats, so decided to feed this to a litter of rescue kittens. After about a week of mixing with their former food, they are eating it without complaint. It is good quality food for a reasonable price.

    Diverted product

    By on

I received this product and when I opened it up, it looks nothing like the product I purchased from the pet store. It looks more like puppy food than kitten food.

    Not enticing.

    By on

I bought this because my cats love Evolve food, and my younger cat could've used some added weight packed on from the kitten chow. The bag says Great Taste, which I find ironic - Cats rely more on smell to choose their food. This, sadly, smelled more like rotten peanuts as soon as it was opened... I might've just gotten a bad bag shipped, but to be safe, I'm following my kitty's lead and staying away.

None of my cats like it

    By on

I am not sure why but all three of my cats would not touch this food. I even mixed it with existing dry food and they will not even touch that. Very strange.

    My Fosters Won't Eat It.

    By on

I ordered this for my four fosters kittens I had bottle fed as I wanted them to have a good quality food. They refused to eat it so I mixed it with purina kitten chow the shelter gave me. They are eating the kitten chow and leaving the Evolve in the dish. I'm hoping my other foster will eat it. If not I'll try feeding it to my own cats or take to the shelter.

    Cats dislike

    By on

Very disappointed in this food because although the ingredients are great high quality none of the 16 cats I feed would eat it! Even after starving them out for a couple of days, leaving it out as the only food available over night...they just hate it

    High quality

    By on

This is the next best food compared to grain free food since meat is the #1 ingredient. It is a very easy food for kittens to eat and they seem very attracted to it. Because of the small size of the pieces it might be a good buy for older cats as well with the chewing.

    Great kitten food

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

You need to start out with this food. By the time I received the order, this kitten was hooked on the adult cat food which isn't as high in protein.
