Sad & neglected to fit & handsome. BowRow ladies!
I was skin & bones when my mother rescued me. She`d feed me anything she knew would be good for me. Like fruits, vegetables, & Evolve Classic. I think she chose that brand because of its nutrition w/o all those fillers, & it`s affordable. I don`t eat apples anymore, but i still love sweet potatoes & my Evolve! I`m now @ the weight I`m supposed to be, & i`m so happy & strong! Mother really appreciates Chewy delivering to our door so she doesn`t have to carry it up the apt. stairs. Is there a softer version of my food? That`d be even better!
Good food, lousy packaging
The food agrees with my somewhat picky and definitely stomach sensitive mutt mix. The manufacturer is having issues with their equipment though. This was a resealable bag. However, the resealable ziplock part was only attached to one side side of the bag.
Small bags are excellent for hurricane supplies
I live on the Gulf Coast. We deal with hurricanes pretty much yearly now. So, in case we have to hunker down thanks to an overnight pop up storm, or evacuate because of a major storm, the small bags of this type of premium food are excellent to have on hand! The small size is convenient for storage and travel for sure. If you have to leave with clothes, belongings, crated animals or animals in general, you only have so much space even in a large vehicle, and the small bags of high quality food nake things so much easier. One less worry, you know. In the event of a sudden storm with no warning, it is an almost guaranteed likelyhood that A. You won't be able to physically access supplies in town due to water and downed trees or B. Everyone buys up everything in town as soon as access is opened up more freely and it takes a few days to get more supplies to the stores. Or, if you have to leave ahead of time, should you try to restock food and supplies to bring with, people have already grabbed everything, and if you leave expecting to restock wherever you go, you may have to travel farther than you expected, and people from where you live may have already had the same idea and bought up everything already. Don't even get me started on the quarantine hoarding we all have witnessed. Quarantine hoarding is what lead me to Chewy.com, and I haven't and will not look back after the very positive and wonderful experiences they have provided me and my families and friends with. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be a permanent customer. These bags of food keep for awhile so if you don't use them in hurricane season they make a good snack in the wintertime.

My dogs love evolve and makes their poop easy to pick up

Max is not a real picky eater, he eats most dry food that contains chicken, so I took a chance ordering the Evolve, it was on sale and the price was right for a high end top quality dry dog food, plus I did some research on it. Very good ratings, so I purchased it. Max gobbled it up right away and I will continue to feed. Max is a large chow- he weighs 65 pounds but he has some dental problems and needs wet food also so he only eats 2-1/2 cups of this a day - a large bag does last a while. He loves it.
Dogs won’t eat this
I used to get American Journey & my dogs loved it. Due to cost I had to find something more affordable. I was hoping this would be it but sadly the dogs don’t like it. If your dogs are used to American Journey I advise you to stick with it if you can afford to.
Tasty meal
My golden retriever loves it!! It was recommended to me by my groomer! Glad I took his advice.
Good food but chewy overpriced
I get a 15# bag for 16.99 at my local store. I would prefer to be able to auto ship it but not for 10$ more! I don’t understand why it’s so expensive on here.
my dogs and cats love this food
Yes, I said cats too. Our cats have been caught on multiple occasions, sneaking the dog food even with their food bowl full! My wiener dog wasn’t doing well on the food we were buying from our local feed store, so we switched to this and he is gaining weight back and doing great now.
Good food, but not for x-small dogs.
The kibble is much larger than my small senior Chihuahua's can manage easily. One is only able to eat if if I've soaked it in hot water for a few minutes. The others manage, but one struggles. This is good food. I've fed the cat food before, and everyone liked it and did well on it. The dogs like it, it's just too big for a couple of them to handle easily. This one is on me. I was searching in the small dog category rather than toy/x-small and didn't realize it. So I can't recommend it for my needs, but if your dogs don't have the constraints mine do, I would recommend it.
