I was sure I would like this birdbath, but it exceeded my expectations. It's a perfect height, and the finish looks like I have a stone birdbath. In fact, I like it so much that I'm going to order another one to replace an old birdbath that I have in another area of my yard. Once again, Chewy didn't disappoint me!
The birdbath is solid.. just has to be weighted on the bottom. I did have to put rocks in it for some of the smaller birds to get on since it is deep. Very satisfired.
Very attractive and durable design. Filled the base with sand and assembly was easy. We bought 2 of these and they are well worth the money spent!
I like you can add weight to the base, rocks or sand. We live in a windy place so this is the ticket.
The design is perfect. But our Deer enjoy it mor than the birds. Lol
Birds haven’t found it yet but the dogs think it’s perfect to drink out of.
Beautiful to look at, sturdy, birds like it. Can't be beat. We love it.
I want to love this bird bath, but after having it set up for two weeks not a single bird has visited it to my knowledge. It is heavy plastic and so perhaps it's too slippery for a bird? It looks nice, but I'm disappointed not to have seen any birds use it. (They do use the other clay/ceramic baths around the yard.) Now that I think of it, perhaps the deterrent is the large black cat lurking on the other side of the window from the birdbath...again, want to love the bird bath as it's quite nice. Will continue to keep it well-filled in hopes that a bird actually visits it. (And yes, the cats are strictly indoors-only...maybe a sign to that effect would mollify the birds? Lol...)
It is a much darker green than the one-color lime green shown in the main website photo, and looks much more like ceramic in the pic than it is. Cannot get the base to screw into the stem. Did not read close enough to see it was made in China. Will use as a flat birdbath on the ground I guess. Lightweight and size is good so I was hoping to like it.
The color is rich and looks marbled with out the weight. It is a lovely addition to my flower, rock garden. I added small stones to the base and it has already stood through some spring wind storms! I will be adding water soon for the birds as they come in to nest and have babies!
