Is this sand good for leopard geckos

Sand ingestion is a bigger risk for juveniles so sand is not usually recommended to be used with juvenile geckos. Healthy adult, properly supplemented geckos are less likely to ingest sand. This product is safe for most reptiles including lizards, snakes, and tortoises.

The amount of bags needed will depend upon how deep you'd like the bedding. Ideally, it's recommended for the bedding depth to be 1 to 2 inches. If making a 1-inch thick bedding, it's equal to 1 pound of substrate per gallons of tank. If making a 2-inch thick bedding, it's equal to 2 pounds of substrate per gallons of tank.
