Give your reptile the UVA light he needs and yourself more setup options with Exo Terra Intense Basking Reptile Spot Lamp. Reptiles need UVA light to stimulate activity, encourage natural foraging and aid in digestion. Regular light bulbs do not produce UVA and lack of it can cause illness and even death. The Exo Terra Intense Basking Reptile Spot Lamp emits 35% more light and heat, allowing greater distances between the bulb and the basking site, giving you more setup options. And it is specially designed as a basking spot lamp with a tight beam so it can be precisely directed to create a basking site.

So far so good I gave had it in use over a week, steady temp of 100 degrees in basking area of 10 gallon tank thermometer is in the top quarter of the tank on light side so probably closer to 90 degrees at bottom of tank. I read reviews of these bulbs burning out quickly so we will see

Ordered this light bulb for my rescued Bearded Dragon, please with the speedy delivery from Chewy (as always) but the bulb blew after 4 days. Not pleased with this as I needed a reliable light for my poor beardie. Would not recommend this.
Great light if only it was in stock reliably

This light is amazing and I’ve never had a problem ordering it from Chewy... when it happens to be in stock. I had it as part of my autoship so I had a couple of successful deliveries, but last autoship came without it. I wish Chewy could work on their supply line to be able to avoid these issues.
The holy grail bulb for my bearded dragon!
on Dec 23, 2019
Oh my goodness, this is the holy grail bulb I use for my bearded dragon to bask under. I use the 150 watt. I can't begin to express how much I love this bulb. I've been using mine for three months now and it is still going strong! My beardie loves it! It keeps him warm and toasty. I tried using another brand of bulbs a while back, ones that would give him all of what he needs in one bulb, and he didn't like them, I switched back to this one and he was his old, sweet and happy self. I can't recommend the Exo Terra Intense Basking Spot Lamp enough! You've got to try these!

This light bulb works well with my reptiles and they love the heat that it gives off
on Dec 11, 2019
I ordered this from Chewy and it came within two day (as all ways) I put it into my light fixture and it worked perfectly, until it blew out. I wasn't surprised bc I had already read reviews before buying warning me of what would come, but I decided to give it a try anyways to see how it'd go. The bulb blew out in 4 days, as most reviews had explained already, leaving my bearded dragons cold until I could buy a new one. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE!!
Good bulb for my Uromastyx

These reptiles have a high heat requirement so this bulb seems to be working pretty well. All my tanks are on timers so we shall see how long it lasts. It Was packaged well for shipping.
Not sure what's going on

Not sure why, but I can't get my cage to 110 degrees in the basking spot. I have the lamp laying right on the screen and can only get it to 84. I even added a ceramic heat emitter. The room is 72 degrees, so it's not that cold.
Burned out in 6 days

I bought this bulb in 75w to use in a new basking lamp. I got the right kind of lamp, specifically a basking lamp with a ceramic top, and a wattage rating of up to 100w. When it was working, I was happy with it. It gets hot enough for my beardie, it's a warm-toned light, and it provides UVA. I do not have any idea why my bulb failed in just 6 days, but it was very frustrating.
