Love This Moss Mat
Exo Terra Moss Mats are my favorite! I have seven ball pythons, and every single one of them has one of these mats in their terrarium. The mats hold moisture well, they’re easy to clean and you don’t have to worry about your pet accidentally consuming the mulch that you may have on the bottom of their cage. 10/10 recommend you use this for your snakes. All my snakes shed really well and I have seen zero issues with them once I started using this substrate.

I recommend this product!
My Crested Gecko can walk comfortably, and he can thrive comfortably in this peat moss carpet. It also absorbs waste, and moisture to prevent dryness, and bacteria! This is a very genius product!
Dye is a problem
The dye in this product is an issue for our bearded dragon. It turned her legs and tail green. it is also a little difficult to clean the poop from and occasionally her nails get caught in the shag of the mat. I would definitely compare this to a shag carpet. Probably will not buy it again.
It is okay just not what I expected
It’s very small and didn’t come close to fitting my tank. I also need something different... I ordered the wrong item.
not worth it
I ordered two of these for two different cages. One of them is perfect for the back of our frog enclosure. The second is a completely different carpet and it’s string and falling apart everywhere. It’s awful. I’m worried our gecko is going to eat some of it or get tangled in it.
Carpet is so soft
My leopard gecko love's this mat! Immediately upon placing in tank, he got aquainted with it & burrows on it all day. Trust I will order more.
Must wash before use
Was cutting mat to size , realized my fingers were turning colors. Cleaned mat with soap and water. Bunch of dye came out. Let air dry, Other then that, So far it's good. Snake is happy.
DEFECTIVE, CAME TORN
I must've gotten a defective one because there is a random unnecessary seam down the middle. This seam is torn open... When I pay for something new I expect it to come in new condition, not falling apart.
Great for leopard geckos
Looks great in my enclosure! Great price too. Very easy to clean and dry quickly .
