Necessities

I've never had a problem with this product. I also feel better buying it because it's water resistant. My girl splashes alot, especially at feeding time and I've always worried about droplets hitting the heat lamp. The lasting power is generally ok I find it last about 6 months. Care must be taken when manipulating the bulb or its holding apparatus. A good bump can break the delicate threads inside the bulb. Overall, a well designed and very useful product.

Doesnt last

Burned out after 1 month of daytime use. Would not recommend.

Works Well before it blows out

I've had experiences in the past with these bulbs blowing out well before they should. They work well WHEN they are working. I've had this one for almost 3 months and it blew out today. This happens all the time.
