I have several of these and I've never had any problems getting them on and I just slide them to the edge to get them off, no problem. They sit flush (using them on 10 gallon aquarium tank with regular screen covers)
The difference between the one count and the three count is a fifty cent savings. Both the one count and three count contain two clips per package. So I bought what I thought would come out to six clips total and ended up with twelve total. This was obviously me not doing my due diligence but pretty disappointed that I paid for twice as many as I needed. I'd have given it five stars if the description was more informative than the questions and answers sections.
Got item very quick and not damaged and was exactly what i ordered.
Perfect, exactly what I was looking for. The clips hold the top pretty well. 😍 10/10
I prefer that these are one piece unlike some and that these don’t hit you like a scorpion if you loose your grip like others. The one downside is that you have to have tremendous strength in your fingertips to unclip.
Useful, served the purpose.
I have had the rounded clips. They worked well enough, but these are the best I have ever used or seen.
My new clips keep St. Patrick from driving me away from my home. It's my cornsnake haven. Besides I get the best mice here. And the cats don't get to drink from my water dish. I really don't want cat spit in my water. Do you know where their tongues have been?
Works great the clips go on easy and remove easy but do keep the lid secure.
First of all, these are a cheap price. A lot of reviews mentioned the were too tight and hard to remove. When I first put them on, they were very tight, not going to lie, but to some, that's a big positive. I wanted slightly easier access, so I just bent the metal clips slightly and they're a lot easier to remove. I have 2 on either end of a 20 long and I can still grab the lid in the middle, front and back, and lift up the whole terrarium without a gap in the middle. Your snake or whatever, will not be able to escape. I honestly don't know why people post reviews with problems, just bend them a little and use a screwdriver to pry if you need to? If you can't get it off within a minute right out of the box, you may not be properly equipped to care for a pet.
