Great foraging for rats
These are great for more chunky treats. Fruits and vegetables are my personal recommendation for this, especially hard ones like carrots and apples. Hanging it, or just attaching it to a bottom part of the cage to rest on the floor and roll it around. It's been a year and it's still working well for me!
Perfect for rats
Absolutely love this as a foraging toy for my rats. Can be a challenging puzzle or a beginner. But a great toy all around
Get ready to chop
My guinea pig loves any thing that hangs that he can eat. Celery chopped and thin strips of carrots. Thread carrots strips thru the openings.
Good product for price
I got this toy as an enrichment foraging toy for a medium sized rat. The holes in the sides are pretty large; you could fit food pellets in it but not homemade mixes or seed mixes as they would fall right out. It does seem to work okay for treats like Gerber Puffs, and my rat is definitely having to try for her food! Overall, good product for the price.
Love it but...
My girls(3 rats) love this new toy. It was much bigger than I thought. But that's a happy mistake on my part. The slots are pretty big but works well for ratties. If your a rat parent. Definitely recommend this for their food!
Enriching toy
I love how this toy makes my hamster's mind work to get to her treats instead of just tossing them in. It was a atad bigger then I expected. Also it is hard to fill without all the treats falling out.
Not for parakeets!
Deceptive marketing! It claims to be a toy for small animals...even in their picture it looks very small! Buyer beware!
