    Not for Dwarf Hamsters

    I had heard high praises for this particular hamster wheel and needed a new wheel for my little dwarf hamster. It's my own fault for not thinking about the size of the wheel compared to her, but she was BARELY able to move it, and there's grooves on the inside of the wheel that I could hear her little I had heard high praises for this particular hamster wheel and needed a new wheel for my little dwarf hamster. It's my own fault for not thinking about the size of the wheel compared to her, but she was BARELY able to move it, and there's grooves on the inside of the wheel that I could hear her little claws slipping on. Also I'm not sure if this was my own misunderstanding but I had a very hard time opening the wheel to clean it. It simply wasn't going to work out and so when I called for a refund the customer service was VERY kind and helpful. If you have a bigger hamster (and can figure out how to open it without difficulty) I would recommend this but NOT for a dwarf hamster or critters of that size. … more

    Wobbles, Wish it came with the cage mount

    The wheel arrived loosely attached to the stand. Once I tightened everything, including the track and the cover, I put it in my Syrian hamsters cage. The turning of the wheel isn’t completely true, so it wobbles. The wobbling causes vibration in the cage and noise. The turning of the wheel isn’t completely true, so it wobbles. The wobbling causes vibration in the cage and noise. So, although there isn’t rotational noise due to the bearings, there is noise from the imbalance/wobbling/shaking. I’m a bit disappointed that a wheel this expensive has this issue and am thinking of contacting the manufacturer. I did already order the cage mount - which I strongly feel should just be included considering it probably is 20 cents worth of parts. Hopefully that mount will be less noisy. … more
