General instructions

Do not leave your dog unattended with the collar on until he is used to wearing it and you are satisfied that it is working correctly.

When your dog is barking, let the collar operate without interference. Any interference on your part could teach your dog that barking is a means to get your attention. As soon as your dog stops barking, reward your dog (but not excessively) with petting, verbal praise or dry food.

To avoid unexpected triggering, your dog should not wear a medal, metallic collar, or any other kind of collar together with the Deluxe Spray NoBark collar.

Maintenance

To clean the collar use a soft cloth moistened with water or a mild detergent. Do not use solvents or harsh detergents.

The nylon strap can be washed with soapy water.

The spray can make your dog’s hair sticky. Wash your dog’s neck area weekly with a wash cloth and mild soap then rinse and dry.

Troubleshooting

Before thinking your collar is broken, first read the guide over, then make sure the problem is not caused by an empty reservoir or an incorrect use.

You can start using the collar with 6-month-old puppies that have already received some basic training: “stay”, “sit” or at least “no”.

Do not use the collar with dogs that are not in good physical shape (i.e. cardiac problems, epilepsy) or have behavioral problems.

Yes, make sure that the spray reaches the dog's snout area. If necessary trim the hair on your dog's neck.

The strap should be adjusted when you can insert two fingers between the strap and your dog's neck. The collar must be positioned on your dog's neck with the spray valve pointing up toward your dog's snout. The collar must be positioned on your dog’s neck with: the spraying valve and the microphone pointing up toward your dog’s snout & the refill valve directed downward. Reservoir in contact with your dog’s neck.

When filling the collar, the collar should be turned off. Do not smoke while filling the tank. Direct the spraying valve away from your body (especially from your eyes). Only use Eyenimal branded spray refills with your Deluxe Spray no bark collar.
